thats rubbish, the iphone has plenty of limits, no multi tasking is a major one, you can also watch the grand prix on any android device too using the free beeb player app.

anything the iphone can do, alot of other phones can also do,

if it was me i would go for the desire

  • iPhone isn't that great. Its an iPod with a phone dialer and Apple release updates that require you to buy a new handset. My Pre didn't have Video capture on it, Palm released and over the air update and there you have ....video capture. WebOS is the OS to watch out for. I wouldnt worry about the iPhone, i never wanted one and doubt i ever will. Some people have written them off but i would keep any eye on Palm.

I've ordered mine from Mobilephonesdirect. Have read some bad stories on here about them but I've used them in the past, as have friends and no problems so far!
My deal was £25/month for 18 months, 300mins 300texts and unlimited web plus 3 months free insurance, free phone. If you click on the phone, it gives you 'top 10 deals', change this to all deals.

Can't you PAC your contract number to a PAYG SIM on another network, then get another PAC to switch back when you are ready to sign up for a new contract?

That is the standard way of getting a new customer deal when you're already a customer (if you follow!!)...
And, yes, It works, people do it all the time. . .

Having seen the latest sales figures from Palm, analysts seem to be thinking their lifespan will be measured in months rather than years.

It's a pity Windows phone is taking so long to come to market - it looks like it could give Android and the iPhone a run for its money.

I wouldn't be shocked to see this as a run on them. They have lots of IP what is worth a bucket load of money. They may even license their OS to the likes of HTC. Their OS is very very good and their is another update for all you Pre owners coming tonight / tomorrow.
