That makes sense Choccy, DH is on it too and he's lost about half a stone but he needs to loose 2 in total whereas I "only" need to shift 1, but would like to shift 2 lol!

Are the cambridge shakes different to slim fast then? Whats ketosis?

  • it means your body eats fat while you do nothing lol, il not bore you with medical termonology, its when the body doesnt get carbs so it has to eat fat, as an energy sorce ketones are a waste product that are found in the urine and can be noted on breath, atkins is a milder form of cambridge :O i just want quick results lol i feel huge dont like the idea of not eating but my weight is bugging me now its going up rather than down lol

I struggle with the liquid diets....I need to eat! 'Ketosis' just the word sounds scary :rotfl:

Think i'll stick to my healthy low fat meals and up the exercise to see if I can't lose a few lbs and tone up :) Now the sunny weather has arrived I feel more motivated, actually going to walk into town instead of driving this afternoon.

OH spoke to EA today and she advised (even though working for the vendors) to tell our solicitors that the plan is to exchange asap and complete no later than 3rd week in August regardless of what happens, which she said she can see no problem with at the moment anyway but just guarantees our purchase and completion and puts and end in sight! Woo hoo! Solicitors 2pm this afternoon and then i'm just going to be super excited forever :j Need to really cut back on the spends and save now for nice things :D xx

I love that this is quite a busy diary True, more like a daily thread almost!!

I agree choc i struggle on liquid diets as i need the food!!! I think cutting down and exercising will be what i need to stick with!

True - congrats on your bridesmaid offer! We hope to take the girls to florida in the next few years. The inlaws have a time share so go for 2 weeks every 2 years. So accomodation is free. We took DD1 when she was a year old and now the girls are at a great age. In 2 years when they go again they will be 9 and nearly 7. So unless baby #3 comes along we might be able to take them:D

    :hello: Morning girlies!!

    Hi LittleKel!! :D

The parcel at the posty was a dress I bought off of ebay - no DVD yet :( posty hasn't been yet this morning so am keeping my fingers crossed!

Yesterday was manic busy, and not in a good way :( split shift at work (in a chip shop in this weather? i swear i won't need to diet if that keeps up, i'll sweat away the pounds :rotfl:) and I had to pick little man up from school with a really nasty belly ache :( took him straight to the doctors and they decided to test for coeliacs disease like I've got - which means blood tests :( my poor baby was so frightened and the doctor screwed up the first one (using a giant adult needle) and because he has to have the test it took me over half an hour to convince Jack to have the second test taken from his other arm and to convince the Dr that he could try using a butterfly to make it less painful for him and then once that was done poor Jack fainted! It was horrendous and I'll be seriously surprised if Jack doesn't develop a phobia of needles now! On the plus side, he got two big plasters to show off to his friends, so once he'd come around and had a drink of water he was showing off his battle scars bless him :)

Great idea on the early exchange Choccy, at least it will tie them in!! If you get stuck with any of the legal jargon, just shout - I'm a qualified legal exec, always wanted to be a solicitor but couldn't handle the stress at the time!

I think Jack will love Florida, he'll be 11/12 and hopefully big enough to go on all the rides (although he's currently a dink bless him). I was 8 when I first went out there and remember loving every minute apart from being too small to go on the scary rides lol!

Well little man is with his dad this weekend, so me and DH are taking my mum out for lunch for her birthday today and tomorrow we'll be digging up the garden some more! This weather is what living in Cornwall is all about :D

Hope you all have a brilliant day with lots of sun :D xxx
