Another reason to vote Tory...

We need to cut it hard and now, or else we go the same way as Greece and get our AAA status taken away. Last week Osborne criticised Darling for not cutting "the bulk" of the deficit - when challenged where in-between the 2/3rds announced by Labour and 100% "the bulk" is he got cagey.
Last week he described the proposed efficiency savings in Darling's budget as "bogus", a "fantasy". Now, not only are the cuts real, they're enough to pay for a big tax cut, which apparently has a higher priority than us going the way of Greece.
Is it me, or has Osborne just demolished his own economic platform?
That would be the kind of platform which slopes sharply to the right and sort of... well... just slips out from under you...0 -
I can think of two excellent reasons to vote Tory... providing you can spare enough time from arguing over the phone with your accountant about the atrocious way he is mismanaging your affairs and making it look like your estate is worth over £1m ... and, of course, why the hell he insists on ringing you just as you're sipping your pre-hunt sherry...0

Tory Tax Cuts already.
So much for the hair shirt brigade's austerity agenda. :rotfl:“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”
