They want to be "fair" you see.
They want everyone to have broadband and computers.
I imagine some will make good use of it by pirating/surfing !!!!!! or engaging in other dubious activities whilst sat smoking or playing the x box.
Mind you,the contention ration will be good for them as the rest of us will be out at work during the day.
Conservatives...well they will axe this stupid tax
Whilst I don't disagree with your sentiment your stereotyping does you no favours0 -

Labour ,simply becuase they espouse socialist doctrines and ideals, simply wants to redistribute wealth from those who have it to those who dont.
....
Whilst the Conservatives are quite the reverse.0 -

I think shareholders who provide the capital for current and aspiring business maybe wouldn't agree with you
then again maybe they are just thinking of themselves

Apologies..I shall try to control myself...
Though stereotypes are actually real...:pFeudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -

Normality will not resume until after the election when the government whether blue or red will hit us with everything but the kitchen sink to get the countries finances in order:eek:

Am I missing something here

He said he had identified five areas of government savings, helped by two advisers: Sir Peter Gershon, Gordon Brown’s former efficiency chief, and Dr Martin Read, the former head of Logica.

I think its wonderful. For months we have had Osborne bleating on about the deficit. We need to cut it hard and now, or else we go the same way as Greece and get our AAA status taken away. Last week Osborne criticised Darling for not cutting "the bulk" of the deficit - when challenged where in-between the 2/3rds announced by Labour and 100% "the bulk" is he got cagey.
Last week he described the proposed efficiency savings in Darling's budget as "bogus", a "fantasy". Now, not only are the cuts real, they're enough to pay for a big tax cut, which apparently has a higher priority than us going the way of Greece.
Is it me, or has Osborne just demolished his own economic platform?0
