Do you enter competitions for a prize you don't want? I only enter things I really want or need (a holiday desperately!) I feel guilty about entering comps aimed at parents and kids things as I don't have kids. Maybe i'm just a soft a*se xx

I do my best to consider each prize. I only enter comps for prizes I want or can make use of. I've won a few "stupid" prizes in previous years (5 litres of slug pellets and also some ant killer) because I was entering everything and anything. I also don't enter many ticket competitions because I am unlikely to be able to attend most events. I did chance it and entered for some JLS tix, and won. Much to my daughters annoyance, we couldn't go because they only notified me 24 hours before the concert (despite the closing date being a week before). The tix were passed on to an MSE'r though.

I don't enter for prizes I don't want but I do enter for prizes I can give to my very small family. I've just won Legoland tix.

I also enter comps that have more than one prize.
