    Morning All

Thanks for thinking of me, I think the weather is expressing my feelings for me.

Had a lovely afternoon yesterday when DNephew, wife and GNeice (7) & GNephew (almost 1) came to see us, they are a lovely couple with two great kids.

Also have a blood donor session, and taking the car to have the new 13 pin plug for caravan electrics on instead of the old two 7 pin ones. We have an adaptor, but it makes it a lot simpler. Also been looking at a new caravan 12v tv, as the 10" is not much use when the tennis is on with older eyes.

((hugs)) to those who'd like one.

    Morning All,

Question - does a Lemon Drizzle Muffin count as fruit? one of the 5 a day?:rotfl:

Wet weather certainly affects the body - aches & pains and also for me slows down the digestion (I'm going to whisper this - I'm underweight & have trouble putting it on)

An army of workmen have arrived to work on the 'house' opposite. I live in a park home and our newish site owners are cramming (Illegally) as many homes on the park as they can & one has been put opposite blocking my lovely view of the fields & woods.:(

Anyway, my OS mission this W/E was to darn, yes DARN my BF's socks. Just to make it fun I used all the colours of the rainbow & he now looks like he's wearing smarties on his toes (&loves it).

Today will look at my accounts as end of Tax Year is looming.

Lovely to read all your posts. I so appreciate this forum, makes me feel warm inside. I've mucked up the size of the print, oooops.

    Morning all :hello:,

A very sleepy wave from my corner. Quite seriously I would still be fast asleep if DH hadn't have got out of bed and woken me up! Have got a bit of an upset tummy today (think it's a bit from the IBS) so not sure I'm going to last out the whole day at work.

MSD - sorry to hear Tris is not so good. Many positive vibes going his way.
jackieglasgow - I can't believe it's snowing where you are:eek: how rubbish - have we not had enough over the last few months?!
jc - good luck today xx

Had a lovely weekend. DH and I went to look at a couple of houses down in Edenbridge. It was really nice down there, so we just need to look at whether it really is too far away from work and family etc. We definitely won't be using the sat nav to get us there again though seeing as it practically took us offroad (and no we don't have a 4x4!) - awful the gradient was something daft like 14% and it was only wide enough for one car with no passing places! Could not help wondering what would have happened should we have met something trying to come up the hill! Needless to say, we found the main road route coming back!!

OS wise, have bedding to iron and put in the airing cupboard (living with my Mum for 5 months means I have finally learnt how to perfectly fold a double valance bed sheet!) and then bubble and squeak for tea (it's Monday - it's the LAW! I think that might be my new slogan :D).

Have a lovely day, hugs to all in want/need xx

Morning folks from a bright and breezy Montrose, on train at 05:19 in my gf house for 08:10, cant be bad.

Thankfully my last shift went well with no delays, suicides or complaints , however a train came in from wick with a buzzard wedged in the front coupler, even more amazing it was still alive!! We called the sspca to come and collect it, dont know the outcome tho but didnt look good. I'm a qualified bird ringer (to work out migration and things like that not wringing necks!) but didnt want to take it off the coupler in case I done more harm than good.

Very lazy day planned, only two and a half hours sleep so day on mse and tv!!

Jackie keep me infod of snow if possible and youre more than welcome to keep it doon in weegie toon. :p

Morning all.....................((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))) if you need one, good to see you posting Halight.

OOOHHHH NO snow Jackie, I hope it does not come this way!!! mind you its cold enough, I am going to have to light the woodburner.

Not a good night, aching bones etc too, I feel washed out this morning. Bedroom end of the house clean this morning, the dewing room carpet is a mess and its that horrible cord stuff, thread stick to it. OH is bowling indoors this afternoon, he gets a tea so we will be having supper at lunchtime, cold chicken with salad and jacket spuds. I might get a snooze whilst he is out or I will be cutting out and sewing another of those cushion covers.

Not much activity on the farm this morning, its still too wet to plant potato's, so guess they will be spreading slurry again.

Grey, cold and damp with a prospect of heavy snow over the next 2 days, not exactly summe weatherr is it!!!

    Morning All,

Had a lovely day yesterday celebrating dads birthday. He is 67 but doesn't look a day over 55. Not one gray hair:eek: he loved his new shirt and lots of dark chocolate pressies from the grandchildren, plus Lee Childs new thriller. Thankyou for the birthday wishes Butterlfy brain

((((Hugs)))) to all those wth aches and pains today. It must be the damp weather. Just spoke to my mum who has arthritis and she is the same at the mo.:(

Its wet here in Manchester as well, so washing hung inside.Woke up with a sore throat and bit of a headache this morning so think I may be getting a cold. Dropped DD at work at 7.30 and the traffic was awful. She works in Bolton so should only take 20 mins but always a good hour, please let her pass her driving test soon:o

We had a drive round looking at houses to let yesterday so today she will ring up and make some appointments to view, also going to look at a local nursery for DGS.

Tea tonight will be a lamb curry with the leftovers from yesterdays lunch. House had a good clean on Saturday so just a tidy today (although upstairs bathroom is needing a good clean) but not today just not in the mood and really fancy a lazy day:o

Snow forecast for us on Wednesday, hope they are wrong!

Have a lovely day everyone x

    Morning all.

Good luck today JC & Rachel, what a worry it must be for you both.
Diva-sorry to hear Tris isn't too good, lets hope things improve for him.
Halight - glad you sound like you're doing OK,the twins sound like they are coming on in leaps and bounds :T

Well I've not even been out with the dog yet as he hasn't got up,I think the clocks altering must have confused him :rotfl:I shall go and rattle his lead shortly ,that usually does the trick.I'm on double dog duty today as I'm walking the neighbours and feeding her,as she has to go out for most of the day.I'd bring her dog into our garden for a play, but its a bit wet and the pair of them will make more mud on my lawn :D

Leftovers today, plenty as DS2 didnt come home for his anyway yesterday.
I might get the flylady list I printed off ages ago,now the house is tidy from the viewers,& see if I can keep on top of it :o If only more interesting things didnt get in the way like reading, crochet, sewing & family history,I'd be quite tidy ( and bored out of my head)

    Anyway,think the pooch is stirring,so off I go.Hope everyone has a good day.x

    Morning everyone

Dull & drizzly here too, at least no snow thank goodness. My step dad told me this morning that my mum was admitted into hosp last night with pains under her ribs, they were meant to be doing an xray last night but have to wait until consultant has been before we know any more.

Will be working from home later this afternoon, so will have my day off tomorrow instead. Will do a bit of shopping for essentials this morning as am trying to save money as don't yet know how much my car is going to cost me today. Need to sort out stuff for ebay and get listing.

JC & Rachel - thinking of you both today.
Donny-gal - hope all goes well today.
Diva - Thinking of Tris, hope he improves.

Enjoy the rest of your day.((Hugs)) to anyone that needs/wants one. Take Care.
