virus running PC slow and freezing

first time it found about 2000 items, second time 4, but no prompting. I will keep an eye on it. I also updated patches for windows.

Firewalls fine unless you need to control programs (unlikely)
Id recommend AVIRA or AVAST as you main anti virus (free)
Malwarebytes as a secondary scanner
FIREFOX with the NOSCRIPT plugin to protect yourself from infected webpages:idea:0
