I've got stretched screen as well.

I'm such an idiot. I rushed to get DD2 to nursery and forgot it was a NPD:o

I nearly booked a pedicure for this afteroon yesterday - thankfully I didn't
taking the princess of pink would have been very messy and not very
    relaxing.

wm was overloaded with heavy items (DD2's duvet and a bath towel) so it
was out of balance and wouldn't spin. So glad that disaster is averted.
washing master bedroom sheets and about to go and put fresh ones on
    before bedtime :D

I've suggested a visualisation to sandy, maybe when she's having her chemo. i'm not sure she's emotionally in any state to understand it, but it can't hurt.

Just preparing for a conference call... hopefully I'll get the ironing done as it's scheduled for an hour.

The book has arrived hex :j:j Thanks... Not sure I'll get much work done now... :o

And don't forget, we have Beltane in a month's time..... Think Maypoles, and the attached symbolism.;):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::D:D:D
Fwiw, when I split from my KH, I wasn't looking for another man, (far from it!!), but I did do a wee ritual to get some friendship into my life...... and I ended up with Mr LW; clearly the Universe knew better than I did.:D Oh, and he's 10 years older than me, and was divorced and had lived alone for many years.

Sandy has confirmed that her tumour is malignant and inoperable. She starts chemo tomorrow and is going home on Saturday.
Oh bu**er! NOT what we wanted to hear.:( But thanks for telling us the news; I will do a hefty healing ritual tonight for her. I'll also be doing visualisation for her if she can't quite get to grips with it herself. My feeling is to see the chemo as archers, firing arrows at the malignancy to wear it down, if that makes any sense.

I've got on and done today's AND tomorrow's Flying, so that we can have some quality time together; seeing as we have an enforced 4 day weekend, might as well make the most of it.

Thursday ~ master bedroom and landing
    Level One
    Declutter floors Done
Strip bedding, wash sheets and remake the bed.. BEFORE BEDTIME!! Done this week; regular Saturday task.
    Level Two

Sort out the airing cupboard or linen cupboard.. what can go? What do you need to keep? Done (Mr LW) – he can get to the top shelf easier than I can!
wash any curtains/nets that need it Curtains done very recently; no nets.
Sort through one box of junk Done – guess what? - it was Mr LW's junk!
    Extras

    1. Do a small job you have been putting off forever Done
    2. check all the smoke alarms are working as they should! Done
    3. Sort out the junk from your favourite/most used handbag!.. Get rid of those receipts from 1982 from your purse! lol Done
    4. Fill a binbag for charity shop (or the bin if you prefer!) Lots of recycling turfed out – so a full Pink Bag.
Friday ~ Childrens pits, spare or neglected rooms!
    Level One
Strip, wash and replace bedding N/A; we don't have a spare bed, as I only have canine house guests.
Declutter and vacuum the floor Done (Mr LW)
    Level Two
Sort through a cupboard.. any cupboard, could even be a kitchen one! Done
Drag out and sort all the gibble from under the bed! N/A (see above)
Straighten the toy boxes and shelves Book shelves and files tidied; all filing done.
    Level Three
Wash any soft furnishings that need it.. or the duvet! No soft furnishings in junk room
    Dust and deweb Done
Wipe sticky grotmarks from the walls, doors and paintwork Done
    Extras
    1. Binbag dance Done
    2. 15 minutes filing Filing all cleared (see Level 2; I don't have any toy boxes so cleared filing instead)
    3. List 1 item to sell I don't do selling – but have sorted stuff for Bring'n'Buy table at next moot.
    4. sort the shoes, coats and bags! All tidy and put away.
So that's another TWO STARS, which should make all FIVE this week (not sure if Toots picked up yesterday's request, as I posted at the same time she did).
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    A healing ritual is a lovely idea.:T:T

We've done group visualisations in the past for toots & Lady-L. Just very simple ones where we visualise white light focussed on them, and in toots case she described the size, shape and location of her tumour for us to work on! However, it would be great if you could suggest something we could do as a group exercise to provide help and support (I only really know about visualisation from a pain management and sports psychology perspective...) as it sounds like you really understand how this works.

teleconference is dull... ironing is making progress ;)

...rushes back in, was a bit delayed in my HHC and then spent 15 mins talking to NN when I went to bin but I did manage to...

hoover, sweep and mop everywhere, upstairs, downstairs and in my lady's chamber, plus wm x 1, td x 1, folding and putting away, recycling and bins done, fluffy dustered all visible surfaces...

Thanks for your honesty Helen Jelly, it helps not to feel like I'm the only one.

I'm in for the visualisation (and prayer) thingy for Sandy, hope you'll let us know when Greenbee, LW.

    In my HHC I

Put away all last night's ironing (3 hours worth) that was dumped on the respective beds this morning
Sorted a load from TD and what was dry on the line for ironing
Sorted DS3 and DD2' wardrobes and decluttered outgrown items
Put another load in TD and WM
    Sorted my undies drawer
Paired up the odd sock bag.
    s/s family bathroom and en-suite.

I need a cup of tea now before the school run.

I think the VISUALISATION is a SPLENDID IDEA. Count me in.

Just caught up with the thread as i've been in uni all morning working on a very tedious assignment!

Thanks for the update on Sandy, can't believe the news. Please pass on hugs and prayers Greenbee. Life is so unfair sometimes:( It really does put things in perspective. Will light a candle for her later. x
