My April total came to £215:38, so £20:38 over isn't too bad I guess :o Having said that, £32 was spent on special offer cheddar & is still secreted in Grandma's fridge so all the greedy meeces here can't snaffle it :D
Like others have said tho, I really MUST try harder in May :(

Hi, I would like to declare at £84.89 for April.

I'm not quite sure what's happened this month as this is the first month I have come in under budget ........ I thought I must have missed a receipt but I've checked and I haven't. Maybe just getting the hang of budgeting better :D

Could you please put me down for £100 for May.

    Ta looie x

Total year to date: £870 :j

Looking back at bank statements 3 years ago would have been over £2000 by now:eek::eek::eek:
So really pleased, keeping track on a spreadsheet is a great help, noticed each time I pop into my local Tescos I buy a fudge....well it is only 15p:cool:
    but I do that 3-4 times a week so 3 x 15 = 45p pw x 52 weeks = £23.40 a year on fudges :o

Must try harder in May....no more fudges, well maybe just once a week ;)

Over by £40 so total spending was £200.00 and a few pence. I am finding that keeping a record certainly helps.
Make £2 a day challenge - doing well so far.

At first looks good as £50.01 under budget but due in part to being stranded on holiday and £50 only just covers the additional cost of calls and texts I had to do :(
