But did you switch the wireless function off? Even if you connect by ethernet, the wireless side remains active unless you disable it on the router.
Is the mobile problem still limited to 'incoming' loss of voice-you can still hear the person near the router?No free lunch, and no free laptop

Didn't disable router cos didn't know it was still active when using ethernet. Yes just incoming from mobiles. Landlines fineBut did you switch the wireless function off? Even if you connect by ethernet, the wireless side remains active unless you disable it on the router.

Enter 192.168.1.254 into your browser.
The default user is ‘Administrator’ and the default password is blank.
Navigate to the wireless page and disable it.

OK, disabling wireless is worth a try-but how can transmissions from the wireless router be affecting mobile phone signals though? Different frequencies surely?
And if they did, how would that explain loss of voice at the home end on both home phone (wired) and mobiles (see original post)?No free lunch, and no free laptop
