Wow Candygirl - 7 sizes, well done :T:j:j
I second that!! Well done hun! I'm trying but failing! Especially as I just made HM pancakes as I had a craving for something sweet
but it is the time of the month so that's my excuse!

Flutterby I know just what you mean, i always want to stuff my face with sweet things at that time, even though I know it would be a far better idea to eat Low GI things to help keep the blood sugar level and avoid screaming like a harpy at everyone

Candygirl Very well done on the weight loss! I'm trying to cut down portion sizes atm, as at least that'll be a start
We tried to eat healthily while we were away (in New Zealand for nearly 7 weeks) but it was a lot more difficult than we'd hoped. For instance, you'd order an innocent-sounding chicken sandwich and it would arrive with bacon and cheese in it. Steak sandwiches often had cheese on top as well so we had to check in advance!

bargainbird - Your poor FIL! I hope he starts to feel less sore tomorrow. And of course, you older you are when you fall, the more it shakes you up.
mioliere - Hope DH got the hall floor done! Is it concrete under the tiles, or stone?
csarina - Ah, so they're cushion covers! I wondered what the loops were for but I know now.
While we were in NZ we stopped in a little town for lunch and went into a shop selling handcrafted things, made by a group of local ladies. There were some quilted things which were really pretty, but i couldn't for the life of me work out what they were. They each had a loop at one corner but were much too big to be pot-holders. In the end I decided they were probably traycloths! Somehow I didn't like to ask. We did buy a very pretty patchwork cushion though, to put behind my head in the car. Somehow Dh managed to squeeze it into the case to bring it home
Church this morning, then a couple of loads of washing this afternoon (again.) Tea/dinner was going to be JO's chicken tikka masala, but then I realised I'd used up the last tine of coconut milk, so I think Mr Sharwood is going to have to come to the rescue with a jar of balti sauce!
Hope everyone has a good evening.

Well done, Candygirl! That's great going.
We've just looked through some old photos and I'm feeling the need to do a little dieting myself. If only there weren't a bar of chocolate on the side here...
It's not been a bad day today. I'm feeling a bit better and hopefully will be fine for work tomorrow - good night's sleep pending. I've been sorting a few bits and pieces in the kitchen, and I've made a list of stuff to get done this week. That'll help.
Night, all!

Stroppyjock...How awful - my DH used to work at a shopping centre and he lost count of how many killed themselves by jumping off of the top car park and as you say it is those who have to clean up that have to cope with the aftermath
