im sorry but i dont see your problem, you didnt finds seats first, you expected help when there were 2 of you, one capable of pushing you and the other carrying the try.

you then waited ten mins and surprise surprise your coffe was cold and now you think because the manager has been in touch you think you are going to be axe murdered or sold into white slavery - i can't think he isnt genuine, with him asking you to describe who served you unless he gets off on you describing what people look like.

yes, you should have had syrup on your drink but the rest is your own fault, sorry.

Off topic but i'm going to ask....why does everyone assume that i'm white?

I came on here because it's a board for venting not one for hoping that the person who happens to run the store is there and can fix things. I've already contacted costa who are dealing with that side of things i just wanted to pass on my experience in the glasgow fort costa coffee i.e. that the store is treated as an inside eating area for the sorrounding take out places and that the staff are unhelpful and quite rude really. Also my sister and mum both have arthritis so the situation was far from ideal.

I think one person did and they were making a light-hearted joke.

Alan sounds genuine to me. These boards are carefully watched by many businesses.

Well, look on the bright side, at least you were seated while waiting for a table to become free. Sorry, but I find it slightly arrogant of you to suggest that you should have priority to a table to drink your coffee at. You've been offered an apology but, as far as I can see, you've rejected it. What exactly are you expecting?
    Now that's just plain cruel!

Your comment was flagged up to myself today, I had 2 choices to make, do nothing, or offer our appoliges on behalf of my store. As previous mentioned I have invited you to contact the store when I am on shift to offer a refund. Some stores do not have the facility to flag up "mentions" on the internet but I have that benefit and with all feedback good or bad I will act on it.
I don't think anyone will say you haven't tried.

(Please God you're not a hoaxer!)

Lol, if the official costa email people asked me for my address then i'd give it to them no bother but i'm not giving it to anyone on mse who asks for it

ETA the glasgow fort store is in easterhouse, anything can happen! Lol, i'm not from the area anyway, just went to the fort to avoid the kingston bridge on a football day. There's not much more to the story than what's posted, what more can there be really? It's a story about a coffee shop, not as if i stole all the beans and am now trying to get a refund.
I just realised by your comment that maybe you aren't aware there is a private messaging facility here on the board. You don't need to give out any personal info other than your user name here and your e-mail address won't be disclosed.

I might agree with all the eager critics, if 'Alan' hadn't consistently avoided the issue of confirming his identity with the forum team. If there's nothing to hide then what's the issue?
