PP - loots of hugs. Sounds like a bad day for you
Good to hear your family is okay, but feel so sorry for your friend.
Queenie - just been reading the *huge* list of what you've been up to - I feel totally shamed! I've really got to do more!
Kyle - sorry your doctor wasn't sympathetic - looks like it'll be tablets after all.....
Twink - hope your knee is better today, and you're feeling brighter.
Hello and hugs to everyone else - hope you all have a good evening.0 -
Hi, only managed to go as far back as Penny-Pincher's post, so sending big hugs your way, and of course to anyone else who needs them.
Got an early start with the shopping, I was at the supermarket at 8am, managed to go on my own, so it was a lot easier that trawling two bored kids around. Done many loads of washing and a tinsy winsy bit of ironing, then for tea we've had HM boiled ham, HM pot wedges and HM bread. As I said to our builder the only thing I haven't done myself is lay the eggs - I haven't quite cracked that one yet!!
Have a good evening,

My 12yo loved the bean bag/chill out area (we discussed the essense of the programme today, they didn't watch it) he got himself all excited hoping I would give him a chill out room in the understairs coat cupboard ... until I pointed out that, no, he couldn't put the music system in there and no, there wouldn't be all his books in there to keep him company eitherHe thought about it for a nanosecond and decided I could send him to his room instead :rotfl:
Lol - isn't that just typical of boys? I didn't watch the follow up - was it the same family? As for neet houses, if you've room to have a place for everything then I think it's relatively simple - but when you're a clutter bunny like me and mine squeezed into a house that has less bedrooms than people then even Kim and Aggie would be hard pushed to do a good job (without the help of a skip(or 3) or big yellow storage!)soba wrote:As I said to our builder the only thing I haven't done myself is lay the eggs - I haven't quite cracked that one yet!!

Yes, it began where they went for their 1st Anger Management meeting and when they got home, nanny phoned but obviously caught them at a difficult moment because wifey had told hubby she wanted him to leave. But, they continued with the AM, and focused on their goal to have a family meal out with family and friends. Turned out very well all things considered.soba wrote:.... Ow, I wish I'd realised - I would have watched that. Mind, probably just as well I didn't, I went to bed and was asleep in minutes!
Had some tom soup for tea and the wee crust that was left from todays HM bread - I'm starving again! I think I must have the worlds biggest appetite. It seems so strange to be sat here without the boys.
I'm off to try some TV, perhaps that'll distract me....

((((((((((((((((Penny Pincher))))))))))))))))))) hope your FIL and Gran are ok and do not suffer any after effects...........
I have every sympathy for your friend, I had 3 miscarriages, one at 30 weeks, it was truly awful, in those days we did not have access to counselling, we just had to get on with it, which was not easy.

((PP)) Life's a bu99er sometimes isn't it?
I went a bit mad earlier & turned my defrosted bol into lasagne. Very nice it was too. Have ironed 6 x OH's work shirts, 2 x OH's work trousers & 2 x tops of my own. I detest ironing...............0
