I must be out of synch with you lot, I had PMT a few days ago:D

Getting a bit depressed about my weight today. I cannot seem to settle on a weight loss method - low fat, WW no count, WW full choice, calorie counting.

I heard from an old family friend yesterday who wants to meet up with us next week as both of our families will be in Norfolk on holiday. I haven't seen her for 4 years and I was 2 1/2 stone lighter and everyone said how good I looked and how well I'd done to lose weight etc etc. She is really slim and always has been:mad: .

I suppose the only way is to stop eating so much and to only eat when I'm hungry. Trouble is I love baking:rolleyes: I like cooking in a traditional style using seasonal produce. I'm also not active enough.

Anyway, hope everyone's day goes well ,:grouphug: Elona

Good Morning Everyone! I was going to ask whether you were all well, but by looks of things it's PMT a-go-go!! Thankfully my lovely pill doesn't give me such a thing anymore!

Was quite pleased last night as OH and I went through the freezer and listed all the meats in there to use up. We then did a menu plan for the next 2 weeks, which will help empty the freezer in time for a shop at the end of August!

Must do the ironing tonight - might do it whilst watching the football actually! Should also put a wash on, but the weather really doesn't look too good over the next few days and I'm not keen on using the clothes horse, but needs must as the pile continues to grow I suppose!

otherwise they seem to be up later and later and get no "me" time - well me time constitutes as Filing boring papers, bills etc or ironing :rotfl:
Got filing done, just ironing to look forward to tonite:rolleyes: whoopee.

DS1 has paid me the "extra" phone bill money and got a sheepish "sorry".

seems a waste of money to me.

    morning everyone.

i'm still feeling particularly lazy today. I had quite a rough evening/night though, so i'm letting myself take it easy. I had really awful pains in my lower back, just on the right hand side of my pelvis. It kept coming and going. I got myself in a bit of a tizz as it was nearly painful enough to make me cry, and i got the idea in my head it might have been labour pains. DH wasn't much help as he was laughing at me. I think he thought i was just messing around, but i was actually quite worried.

I keep getting these pains, so i will have to talk to the midwife again when i see her next week. It has spurred me on to start thinking about packing my bag for the hospital. I know i still have 10 weeks left, but you just don't know what happens do you.

I think i will pop to my parents house today and have a bit of a catch up with them. I haven't seen my family for acouple of weeks as i have been away and busy, so that is my plan for the day.

    happy wednesday everyone.
    Michelle, xx

    hya michelle,

those pains sound bad! have u phoned the day unit at the hospital? i would just to put my mind at rest. hope u dont mind me advising, its the nurse in me!!

    love linda xx

nope - by the time i posted i ended up on pg 2!

michelle - possibly the baby laying on a nerve which is causing it? plus everything is shifting getting ready for birth etc. the joys of pregnancy eh?

thiftlady - i know how you feel, we've got a wedding banquet at weekend, and i'm always thinking people are looking at me thinking im putting on weight etc. you never know yr friend might have put on weight? I'm beating myself up about not exercising enuff and eating too much too!
  • Has anyone noticed, we got the date mixed up again. I'm voting for keeping today as 6th August, though. This summer is going far too quickly.

No PMT for me, either - Mirena's my Best Friend.

Thriftlady, take a batch of baking, they'll all enjoy it so much, they won't notice you've changed. I'm much happier being a bit heavier than I ought, than forever turning down food! :A

Hi, Mimi, you don't seem to need Flylady! Come over and give someof us a hand..............please.............

Hi, Michelle, your pains are possibly your pelvis softening up for labour. Best check it out with the MW, though. Can't be too careful ATM.

Rzl, try not to panic (I know, easier said than done  ). We're all here to go and chastise whoever you say!

Essex and Ronankfan, shall we start the Courgette Challenge next year?

Shez - Gin, Gan, Goolie to you, too! :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Goodmorning everybody & goodnight :D

Can I join the PMT club too. :D Today was a much better day than yesterday. The house is an absolute tip so I'll be busy for the next couple of days. DH back at work tomorrow :j :D  . Bought a few clothes today. Nothing exciting, few shorts & tops for summer. Did a lot of running around with the house the last few days. My computer isn't in yet to be fixed. Still can't find the installation disk. Maybe on the weekend we can tackle the boxes in the shed.

Michelle I would get them pains checked out if I were you. They don't sound good to me.

Pooky Your cards are so lovely. I really enjoyed going through them.

((((((hugss)))))))to everyone. I'm just too tired to remember everything. Off to bed now. Have to be up at 4.30am. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)
