Pretty normal day for me. Am at work until 1 and then home to do some cleaning, pay the rent, go shopping, cook some nice dinner for overworked and tired husband :-)
I did my finances yesterday and calculated my budget etc. I feel a lot better now. I always find that if I haven't got an overview I feel lost and think that nothing will work out...
Hope everyone is having a good day...

Morning all you lovely peeps, don't seem to have posted in a while, but I have been dropping in (almost) daily to read what you've all been up to.
Nothing remarkable to report, having a night off cooking tonight cos we're off to see Stormbreaker (Orange Wednesday 2 for 1) & then going to Pizza Hut after (£10 voucher from Pigsback).
Better go, got a million & one things to do (w**k things) before I head out for the day.

Ok, just done my yoghurt. I used your recipe Ruby.
Wrapped the thermos in a hand towel & I've placed it next to the hot water system in the laundry.
I hope I remember it's there in the morning when I'm running around getting ready.
((((Mrs A))))) hope you feel a bit cheery as the day wears on. I get a bit like that lately. I think it's hormonal  as I seem to be all over the place IYKWIM so I just go with the flow and if I feel sad, just sit down and have a good howl.
I'm off to have a shower before they all get home. Not that I hog the hot water. It just looks like that.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PW!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a mystery shopper this morning, so, up dressed and ready to go......
Its much cooler today so have a jumper on, first time for ages, seems strange having my arms covered.
A load of washing to go on the line before we set off, towels and a few odds and ends that did not really fit in with anything else, the laundry basket is very empty for once......
So pleased you have had the paperwork for your flat RZL, hope you manage to 'stitch up' a good deal with your mortgage and solicitor......
See y'all later..................

Thanks tootles ... I've got one quote now, just waiting for the other ... if the second is negligibly lower than the first, I will go with the first anyway, as there office is 100yds away from mine, which could be handy if things start to drag
... On another subject, I am glum, XBF has just stood me up for a day out next Saturday which we'd had planned for ages ... He is going out with new ladyfriend instead ... It's not jealousy at all, I promise - it's just that he has ALWAYS been in the habit of announcing at the last minute that he's "decided he's not doing" stuff which I've put time and effort into organising - which is highly annoying and is one of the reasons I left him  ... Thing is, we're still really good friends, I knew he was seeing somebody else now, and the last time I saw him he said he was really looking forward to it ... I do have another friend who is interested ... but the trip will cost more now as I was banking on going in XBF's car, now I'll have to shell out £15 for transport costs ... Anyway, better to go with a friend who wants to be there, than a bear with a sore head who moans that he didn't really want to go in the first place

First off
Happy Birthday Pink Winged
Couldn't get on here yesterday as I was just soooo obusy at work. I was flying around Eastbourne interview celebs that are in town at the theatre or filming.
Can't believe how busy it was yesterday. It was just none stop. I was so tired by the end of the day
Another fairly busy one lined up again today. Must go out and get some food as I've not got anything breakfasty with me.
My sister's car's broken down so I'm being a taxi for her right now. Good job she lives round the corner and works on route to my work:D
Hope everyone's okComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
