Morning again love
I think the thing that seems to be panicking you the most is the potential "loss" of your children.
Let me tell you an inside secret. It very very seldom happens where children are taken into care cos parents cannot provide accomodation. Its A POWER. Ie the coucil CAN use this in some circumstances. But have a look about I doubt there are many cases of this. IN 4 years in children & families social work, I never heard of it happening in my division.
You will be housed with your children, dont panic about this.
Go to your local social services or even sure start if you are in cachment, and explain whats gone on . Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Hi CGS, I'd like to say that I'm sure you've got the strength to see you & your children through this difficult time and hope you don't mind if I post the following link. I don't know if its something you've already looked at on the net so I asked some friends on another forum to read the thread and see what suggestions they could come up with. It was the only thing I could think of doing as I have no knowledge or experience to give any form of advice, only offer words of support. If this link has already been suggested apologies for duplicating the info.

Thankfully you have found your way here and as you can see it is full of wonderful people who can give advice and support.
I know you are scared and worried but somehow you will find a way, especially with all the people on here also on the case.
look after your health and your children, you are doing everything you can so stay as positive as possible (hard hun i know).
One question, is your ex the father of one of your children? If he is staying with his family can't one of them help you too?

Dear CGS,
Like so many others I'm afraid I do not have any advice about your housing, but I do want to advise you like so many on here.......GO TO THE DR, tomorrow! Dont leave it PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO GO. Its so important, your DR needs to know everything, I was wondering if you hadn't been because you thinking about what may happen to your children, IT WONT HAPPEN, a child is never taken from their parent because of housing. (if a child had been abused in the home it is not taken until it is absolutley necessary, why? Because a child needs is Parents, this is recognised by the SS and Dr's) GO see your GP PLEASE.
Also dont feel guilty about telling us, yes we have debt problems but we are all here to help one another.
I just want to finally send you a huge hug and tell you that you are doing so well, you are having a c**p time but you are doing a fantastic job of dealing with it.
I'm sorry its been so hard I wont even start the whole the system is C**p rant.
Big. big HUG

Wow having just read this I am lost for words. Talk about feeling humble.
I find it amazing that Social Services or any other authority cannot help
 If you were an illegal immigrant you would get treated better.
I so wish I was near you to offer you some help.

Hi Guys.
I'm sorry but I just have to say this about this post.
I really don't think that the reference, whether true or not, to illegal immigrants is helpful to anyone and may indeed offend others.
Let's be a little more thoughtful before we post these kind of references.:grouphug:
