Keep strong. You are being treated in SUCH an inhuman way. You deserve much more. Things WILL improve.((((((HUGS)))))))Blind as you run...aware you were staring at the sun.

CGS, I've just read through this entire thread and I'm sitting here with a lump in my throat for you. Please Please do as Tiff says and go to see your DR as SOON as possible. They don't mind being 'put out' as you say and as a lot of ppl on here have already said, they may be able to help your case. Plus I can see that all the stress will be having an effect on your general health and you need to stay strong and mentally fit for your children. Your Dr can help with this.
I'm sorry that I cannot do anything practical for you, other than sending lots of thoughts and prayers your way, and keeping this thread on page 1. (((((((((hugs)))))))) from scotlandDFW Nerd no 239.....Last Personal Debt paid off Nov 2012!

I just wanted you to know that my thoughts are with you, I wish I could help or at least offer some good solid advice. If the lottery comes up at work this weekend...
I know how you feel about the talking thing. I'm usually alright until someone asks if i'm alright, then they seriously wish they hadn't, I bawl myself silly!!

CGS, have just been reading this thread, I work for our local council and cannot believe you have been treated so terribly. Does your council have a corporate complaints section? I'm sure they are all required to have one and that should be in the Chief Execs office, this means any complaints that go through there are seen by the Chief Exec and it is then the Chief Execs dept who follow this up with Housing etc. So instead of going in bottom up, you are having your problems dealt with from the top down (does that make sense?)
In my department, a corporate complaint is taken very seriously and actioned immediately by senior people.
Give it a try if you can. In the meantime, my heart goes out to you and your kids. Things will get better.

Nothing to add to the help given apart from could you maybe find out if there ia a local keyfund sceme which could help with the deposit for a private rent?
Previous employment benevolent fund? They could help with this.

Hi again
Thank you so much again for all your thoughts, wishes and advice, you are all angels. I have sat here and cried silly at the kind messages. You are the nearest thing I have to family. Have had two bad days and no sleep. And yes the stress can affect my epilepsy, but luckily so far it hasn't. I am going now to read the advice and see if I can pick through anything that might help. I take notes of your messages and will do what I can to make sense of them. I will post anything new when I have any answers. I was hoping for the lottery too, but I have to be able to afford a ticket first, never mind, next time.
So sorry again, I know you all have your own debt problems.
Oakdale-Minx ; I would love some cake, thank you
Thank you all again and to those of you who bump for me, you all deserve an angel.
xxxxxxxWill my life ever get better for my children ?????
If there is a God, please send an Angel to watch those who are helping me here on MSE :A0 -

Good morning CGS,:)
BIG BUMP!
You've got nothing to be sorry for hun! Besides, I'm sure you're going to get a lot of people asking for help with their debt problems the day after you win the lottery!;)
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE go to the doctor CGS, BEFORE the stress does get too much with your epilepsy.
Don't wait till you get that bad angel. No sleep and feeling so low (and not eating right no doubt), will actually STOP you from being able to make the best decisions or any decisions and from being able to think clearly. You have to take care of the basics so you can be strong enough for everything else. A GP's intervention can work miracles - you have nothing to lose - and make sure you tell the Dr. everything hun.
If it helps...
1. Somehow you and your family will not be sleeping on the streets. When did you ever see that happen?
2. They can't take what you don't have! And they can't take your soul either - although they threaten to try
3. You've survived this far CGS and I admire you for that.:T
4. Nothing stays the same - if you can go down, you can go up!
When you go through the posts, take heart that so many want to help and no-one has blamed you. Though you may feel it, you really aren't alone angel. Thank God for the internet (& Martin) at times like these.
You can get so swallowed up by your problems sometimes that you can't think straight and there are wonderful people here full of great advice & support.
Make your notes on the posts, but please try and attempt just little steps. It will help you to focus on what you need to do next. The mountain doesn't seem quite so big when you take single steps - and you actually feel like you've achieved something.
Then you move on to the next step .
Sorry if I sound like I'm preaching angel - I don't mean to.:o
So big Sunday hugs to you and yours and to all the kind souls who are trying to help you. Stay with us ok?
