If you don't sit down when you pee you may weaken your bladder. Do you hover at home too? :rollyes:
Just to make you a bit more paranoid put the lid down b4 you flush otherwise fecal matter gets sprayed into the air. So dont go into public toilets which usually dont have lids do they?

Are people really so scared of their own s**t? I should think the death rate from that type of thing is minimal.

I'm quite happy to sit on my own loo (it's lovely and clean- thanks to toilet cleaner etc- but I always hover if I'm using a public toilet ( which I try not to do!!).Some public loos are so vile I have to hold my breath as well..... Someone told me you could get crabs from public toilets and it's always made me worry!!!! Now I'll be worried about damaging my bladder!!!! But thanks for the tip - I will bear it in mind.

A quick glance to check there are no puddles on the seat usually suffices ... though I don't like to touch door handles on the way out ;)
    Same here.
I'll start worrying about what I sit on the day I manage to kiss my own !!!!. :rotfl:

Surely they live on humans and will die if they have no host

I agree some public toilets are definitely not nice, but life is full of risks ;)

Ahh but how long do they live.......? It's true - I'm probably just paranoid re: loos (but then my mum was too) and reckless over most other things - as the saying goes "people have eaten in my kitchen and gone on to live normal lives....!" . Maybe I'll devote my paranoia to the kitchen........

    (on second thoughts - nah!!!)

You anti-bac wipe your OWN loo

To further feed peoples' paranoia, if you wash underwear at less than 60 degrees there are still remains of fecal matter on it.

    ;)

My kids friends use my loo regularly  - so I anti-bac my loo too! IO always wash undies on the hot wash (always buy cotton) and going off subject slightly I do boil hubbies socks occasionally to kill any nasty smelly feet germs.
    I know - I need to get a life!!!!!

Exposure to some germs firstly, is unavoidable, and secondly, contributes to a robust immune system!
On the one hand there's 'clean', which should be perfectly acceptable, and on the other there's neurotic obsession which can make you very ill in a different way... :rotfl:
