    PAP you clever girl you...... many congratulations. That must have given your confidence a real boost!!

    Hope you can get the start date you want. I wouldn't worry too much about references. These days all the can say is general stuff such as confirming you worked for them and the dates you were there. They don't seem to give any opinions about you either way.
