Thats bloody fantastic Pap...see look what positive thinking can do :) I would discuss with your new employer, they have to be flexible with your start date and equally they really should honor any holiday that you have booked in advance

morning peeps :hello: i've just had a bacon sandwich for brekkie... nom nom nom!!

Well done Pap!!! I'd say to the new employer that i have to give 2 weeks, and see what they say... i think it shows that you have respect for your employers when you are working for them (even though you might not like them!!)

If they havve offered you the job, i don't think they would retract it for the sake of a week, and if they do would you still want to work for them? I think they want you to start so soon cos it's easter and they are short staff due to holidays....

    Thanks all

Bunny, fab I shall make a list, I want oils first ;) Can I paypal you? Or do you need a cheque?
Sally, I think they have, well I hope they have because I have already payed for the May one :p
Scaredy, I think thats what I will do. If they want me bad enough they can wait. Plus as someone at work is on long term sick and someone is getting redundant I don't want to leave them right in the poop... As much as they don't care for thier staff anymore :(

Well I have left them a message on the 'acceptance' line and I shall see when they get back to me. Or I shall ring again on Monday. I hope because I can't start really soon I will lose the job :( Ahh well if I do, I will just need to keep on applying :j The job is for a well known bakers, there are pros and cons for it but in fairness its much better all around. The best bit is no travel costs :D Well I may have to buy a bike but thats all. Just working out my budgets (its less money) and it will work, but its weekly paid  :o

Now I just have to hope I still have it, even if I start a week later :o
