Thanks - apparently it went well - that was interview 3 & 4 with the same company today. He sees the CEO on the 19th - final decision to be made after then.... am hoping that this many interviews for one company will actually lead to something!!I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -

Ebay has raised about £60, or so, I think - so will make an OP when all the monies are inHave a load more stuff to put on next FLW - hopefully there'll be another one soon!
Spent the afternoon with some friends and their children at the local Wetlands Centre - we're all members, so just took a picnic. We mums got to laze about and chat pretty much and the kids all ran around together - good stuff! Had to buy ice creams - but that was a small price to pay for two happy and tired small childrenI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -

Morning all!
Back a couple of days early from Devon due to the expected heavy rains where we were this weekend - it's no fun taking a (very large) tent down in the pouring rain! And I'm liking being back, anyway. Washing done (except for sleeping bags) Tent needs to be put up in the garden so we can get rid of all the dead bugs in it(!) and re-waterproof it ready for next year - but I think that's waiting for a few days in case the rains hit here this weekend too (although not yet - I have 2 loads out on the line!!)
Small OP of £15 made from ebay yesterday. SPent far too much money this month - oops! ANd still have 4 days in London to go...... oh well!!
School shoe fitting apt booked for Tuesday. Need to book hair appts for DD and myself, too - although not sure when to fit that in yet. ALso need to book my car in for MOT - urgh
DH's interview (no 5 for the same co) for Monday has been cancelled - they've said someone internally has now expressed an interestHe has an interview in Swindon on Tues am for someone else, though - although neither of us are hopeful about that one. Still, something will turn up eventually!
Need to look at fixing our energy tariffs again - current deal has finished and I may switch suppliers - not fussed with eon, tbh.
I want another FLW on ebay - I have the bug at present!!! - although was alarmed at how much postage charges have increased for parcels!!:eek:
Right - some much needed housework awaits!I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -

Ahh, thanks MWC - I have no idea what the score is with that co
Have been decluttering here today. 37 CDs listed on ebay at 99p or less starting prices - they will get 2 chances (maybe 3) to go on there and will then be Music Magpie-d with any cash raised from them going to (of course!) OPsNot expecting much, but we don't want them, so we may as well get rid and see if we can get even a few £. Any which MM don't want will be charity shop-ed.
Washing continues a-plenty here - we've had lovely weather so 4 of the 6 sleeping bags have been washed and dried. I now have an ironing mountain of clothes to tackle, so may start that in front of TV laterSuch fun!

Hi Greent, that's a bit rough on DH - madness to interview four times and then find a potential internal candidate. Good luck for his next interview.
We should get the two together for support
