Well, ebay made just over £30 in the end, so I shall OP that when all pymts have been received. Will relist unsold items along with other stuff this weekend, as it's another FLW :D

Hit town today with DH and the children. Spent £102.90 on 7 shirts for DH in Debenhams. Was a bargain, as full price just 3 of them totalled £110!! Also bought DS1 some Etnies (shoes) @ £35 and a £10 tshirt from Animal ready for his school trip to France next weekend. Casual shoe wise he only has a pair of Clarks trainers, so I can't t really complain! DD got a pair of 3/4 jeans in New Look sale for £7.50 and a £12 tshirt. DS1 & Ds2 also bought themselves a DS game each. Still all added up though!!!

Raining again here today, so I may have the heating on for a couple of hours tonight to help dry today's washing :( Wet weather means we can't move the tonne of topsoil from our drive to the back garden, either....! Still, DH & I can get on with some other of the many tasks on our lists :) I'm tackling the ironing mountain right now though :)

Small OP of £20 made yesterday from an unexpected interest payment on a bonus DH was meant to have had a few years ago :D Other than that, very little to report here. Funds are tight this month. DH has STILL not claimed his expenses and even if he does them thso weekend we won;t get them until end of July :( Have a couple of large CC bills this month, too. Much juggling required. Have also decided that I must refocus on grocery bill and will rejoin grocery challenge for July, with the aim of buying as little as possible (hmmmmm!) DH's July's salary will be less than half as he has some back pension payments coming out of there. Should then start to ease and get into a regular thing from August

DS off to France with school until Monday tomorrow morning. Rain is expected this weekend - so more internal DIY tasks, as opposed to working on the garden! :D

DH's payday tomorrow - must find a positive! Mine next week :) OOh - that must mean I need to pay the CCs this weekend....!

Evening all! :) Just made another OP of £150 from ebay sales :D:D Only sold a couple of items, though - so really need another FLW again!!

Have a basket in Approved Foods - trying to decide whether to checkout or not... is around £80, but is LOADS of stuff.... HAve been trying to use up stocks, so am torn as to what to do.....

Ordered DD and the boys some books from the book people (some for rewards for end of term and some for Xmas) - had cash back and a 5% discount - and a free JAmie Oliver cookbook - well, had 2 free JO cookbooks, as I split the order! :D:D Will either give one as a gift or sell it for a couple of £s at WI

Have also started labelling items for the NCT nearly new sale..... argh! Still, should raise a little bit more towards the July OPs, anyway...

I would order if you have the space to store it, there is nothing more annoying than having to pay full price for stuff when you've seen it cheaper and not bothered!

I ordered it about 9.30 this morning. Several things on my list had gone out of stock since last night, so I found a couple of other things just arrived today instead! (I did spend less than my original total) I was 0.17 under the weight before having to go up to the next delivery charge - something I was keeping an eye on!! :D

Was due to have a free tonne of topsoil delivered today (yeay!) but that's been delayed - hopefully by the weekend, though - that's a saving of well over £100:money: However, have taken delivery today of a very nice mirror for the boys' bathroom.... pebblegrey had a sale on.. In my defence we took their mirror down (chosen by the electrician, not us) and put it in the BTL because we didn't like it (had only been up a couple of months and still had plastic protective cover on) so I shall charge this one against the BTL, as it was actually quite a bit (£60!) cheaper than the one which went in there (which looks good in there but didn't look right in the boys' bathroom. Will be nice to have it put up - that room is then totally finished :D

Must also find a way to grntly nag DH to claim hos expenses from Feb - now....!

DH has put the mirror up in the boys' bathroom and it looks great. Is motion sensor activated, has LED lights, a demister pad and a built in shaver socket point. Love it! Boys' bathroom and DD's bathroom now both fully finished. DS3's room is finished - for the time being... he's 3 now and in a toddler bed (converted from the cot) I've got my eye on a lovely bed for him which would see him through primary school at least :D I can then sell the cot bed and cot bed bedding. However, his bedroom IS finished, I'm just thinking ahead.

Local village show and school fayre tomorrow. Am volunteering at the fayre, so will be out 10-4 ish on that! And need to make cakes for both... (Edit - vanilla cupcakes in union jack cases now in oven cooking - will do them vanilla frosting and red and blue sprinkles tomorrow morning)

Payday for me today :D Am not OPing anything from it though, as DH's acct is sqeaky until he claims expenses.

Free tonne of topsoil arrived yesterday - yeay! If we need any more it should only be a teeny bit. That's a job for DH and DS1 at the weekend - weather permitting! Then when it's spread and levelled we can returf it :)

Only have about a dozen - dozen and a half items (toys) left to price for NCT sale. They all need wiping over first, though, so will do that later (tried earlier but DS3 kept trying to reclaim them!)

Will look to contact some tradesmen next week to fit some new architraves and doors to the children's bedrooms and bathrooms. Too fiddly for DH to do (doors a possible, architraves, no! - I want them to look good!) 6 doors in all - and I want the architraves (and skirting) painting - will still struggle to find someone to do it, as it's considered a small job.... grrr!

'Standard' OP went out today with DD of £743.57 - bringing our total balance down to appx £60562, with sub acct 02 standing at only (appx) £458:j:j

Approved Food order arrived today (as did an Asda delivery - had free code so offer shopped for tins and stuff (and 12 boxes of Frubes!)) so we are awash with supplies... Had a meeting here and everyone brought lunch contributions - and left the leftovers (am more than happy for people to take them away but they rarely do) so have gained a packet of biscuits, some doughnuts, Philly cheese (proper stuff :D- I always buy Sainsbobs basics!), crisps, breadsticks and a lump of cucumber - oh, and a small piece of baguette. All has been cupboarded/ fridged/ frozen as necessary and will be consumed in due course. Now just to put the stash of toiletries away from Af.... I was doing SO well at using things up, too.....:whistle:

ETA: Have started a full spending diary from yesterday - so far it includes a pair of shoes for me (purple suede stilettos with gold metal heels...) and a pair of shoes for DH (identical to another he already has (work shoes)) Hmmm..... oops! :D

    Morning all :)

£80 OP just made from cashback and a refund from Asda - something in my online shopping was broken when delivered, so they refunded the cost (69p) and an extra £3.50 - well, they'd also given me free delivery, so I've rounded up the £3.50 to £5, after paying £75 from cashback :D

Balance os on sub acct 02 is now appx £376 :D:D

Will have another OP later in the week - was NCT sale on Saturday. I didn't buy anything but sold loads (came home with half a bin liner of unsold stuff) so will sort out what I owe the children from that later in the week and then OP my share :)

DH still hasn't claimed his expenses, so now they won't arrive until August payday at the earliest :(:( Will leave us short this month as he is having several pension payments come up to catch up :( Shall remind him of that when he is moaning about the variety of food in the house - shall try and eat lots from stores :) Will be school hols, so children can help me bake lots of cakes and cookies, which will suit them but not him (he likes choc bars more)

Monies received from NCT NNS - kids made just over £40 and I made £50, so have just OP'ed that :D Leaves a balance on sub acct 02 of approx £323.... That WILL be gone by the month end! :)

DD currently in France - back tomorrow night. DS3 has finished preschool (Tues) but Tumble Tots doesn't finish until next week (although he's moving today into the 'big boys' class :D) DS1 breaks tomorrow at 12.30, DS2 next Tues at 2 and DD next THurs at 12.30.... argh! They all start back different days, too.....

We have 150euros left from France last year - have actually lent them yesterday to a friend who is going on hols and is awaiting the return of £400 charges re Nat West error.... Will do them as an OP when she gets her charges back and repays me :) Might not be until Sept but her need was greater than mine right now!
