Well, in the end I made £77ish from ebay and another £4+ from selling bits at WI last night - so I've OP'd another £100 today (I like to round things up! ;))

Mr Green came back from his night away in a VERY nice hotel with lovely smellies and heaps of tea/ coffee/ herbal tea/ hot choc/ sugar and lots of little jars of jams/ marmalade/ ketchup/ HP/ mayonnaise and some posh biscuits (gone in lunchboxes today!) - so a nice little haul! :D I've finally got him trained! ;) :rotfl:

We had a cookery demo at WI last night and I helped the lady pack away. She gave me her leftover herb and spice butters and a full portion of lime pudding :D I checked with other members and the only thing I gave away was my least favourite herb butter, so I came home with a nice stash from there too :D Nom nom nom!! (Lime pudding eaten for breakfast today :o- oops!)

I've packed up all my ebay parcels, so shall be heading off to the PO shortly. Well, I say all, 2 are still to pay and another 2 are being collected. The rest will be sent off today (others can wait until Sat now) and I shall combine the trip with a visit to STresco for cream, apple juice, crisps (Mr G is a crisp fiend and has eaten them all - grr!!) and mouthwash. If I'm really organised we can then nip around the corner to Tumble Tots, too

And the BEST NEWS yet........ I've just got off the phone to the washing machine repair shop - the part has arrived:j:j:j:j He could fit it today - but it would be over the time when we have T Tots, so I declined - and it's being fitted sometime tomorrow morning instead! Yeay!!!!!:T:T:T:T:T 3.5 weeks without a washing machine is a loooooong time! It'll cost £76.50 (and I've already paid £36) but who cares!!:p

Well, if the OP didn't cheer you up, a working washing machine will! Yay :j! I went 2.5 years without one when I was homeless - it was hell. Now I actually like putting a load on (but not putting it away though :o)!

Oh, it's been lovely having my washing machine back!! :D:D:D Mind you, today is grey and drizzly, so no chance of dying outside today - good job I got loads done over the weekend! :)

Mr G is working away much of this week, too - so am expecting another haul of hotel bits 'n pieces - although I don;t think the hotels this week are as swanky as last week's, so it won't be as good - still, it's all freebies, so I'm not complaining!

Got half a dozen items listed on ebay yesterday - a couple of which may sell if I'm lucky for maybe £10-15 total. They're all local pick up ones, though, as too heavy to post, so it really does depend on whether there's anyone local enough to want them....

DS3's bday next week, so need to ensure this week that I've got it all sorted. It's also my mum's on the same day - so also need to get that done..... I think I've got a break from birthdays needing presents then until August (although will have teachers presents in July) - which is quite a good run. And then it's all down hill towards Christmas....! ;)

Bids on 3 ebay items (£15 total) and watchers on 3 others, so there'll be a little bit more at the end of next week :) Need another FLW - didn't like the 'doing it on mobile' one - much easier to relist on laptop!

Have dragged all present stash out from under bed (DH is away for a few days, so I can disrupt the bedroom!;)) All sorted for DS3. Just need main bit for mum (she's chosen that, so I just need to go and buy it) Have paper and gift bags. Need to check cards for the 2 of them.

Sorted rest of stash. Have all individual Xmas cards bar 2! Yeay! HAve heaps and heaps of normal xmas cards/ wrap/ giftbags. Have written a list of what I've got and who it's for. Have a large list of un-applied gifts. Some DD will use on friends. Have also sorted out all the duplicate books from under the bed from the children (kept for regifting) and will take to WI and try and sell there. Some of the 'no idea who I'm going to give this to' gifts are going there too. It's just clutter if I have no use for it, so may as well try and get a few £s instead. Will set up a spreadsheet for the rest of the year birthdays/ anniversaries/ fathers day and then xmas and put it all on there :)

Just been tidying up on online banking and paying some bills. DH's pay day is next Tues, so have sent an extra £45 OP to mortgage as we appear to have this spare :)

Sounds like ebay is providing you with steady OP's. You're so organised too re: presents. I have nothing left in the stash so really need to keep an eye out for bargains and get it stocked up.

    Hi Cath

Yes - ebay is being kind to me at the moment - I was thinking that earlier - we have had several hundred pounds from there in the last 3 months alone - I'm glad I got motivated to start listing again :D:D My listing pile has reduced wonderfully (although there's always something to get rid of with the children!) and ebay have also been generous with free listing dates of late.

The Chair of our local NCT branch advised of an extra NNS date for July, too - so I'll have an opportunity to hopefully sell a few bits there (although I really haven't got that much right now - maybe a box worth?) and hopefully make a few £. I'll be at the sale anyway (I'm Treasurer) so may as well try and sell some stuff! :D

Present stash - I haven't got masses and masses. But I have drastically cut down on the number of people I buy for, which also helps. ;) I haven't finalised my s/sht on that yet - a job for tomorrow perhaps - have spent part of today sorting stuff for the accountant and filing a VAT return (deep joy!) It is nice to know that some of it, at least, is sorted, though!

Got our Tesco CC vouchers through this week - just under £60. DD needs a new phone (hers doesn't work) so I'll double some up for that. I'm saving them in general though for rewards :) My mum also has had a backdated payrise and gave me £50 towards it - so that's fab!! :D

I've got a cheque for somethings I bought for WI for £14 and a few pence. I bought the stuff back in Feb, so I may as well OP that now. I'll bank it first, though and then OP, so I know where I am.

Bought the children some books on Book People earlier (with cashback). SOme will be for Xmas, some for when we go away in Summer. Also ordered myself a cookbook (Lisa Faulkner) - that can o away under the bed and someone can give it to me for Xmas :) I'd rather have no surprises and it be stuff that I want than receive surprises of things I won't use... Apparently I'm difficult to buy for... that's only because there's nothing I really want/ need. I still like nice smellies, cookbooks, kitchen-y things etc :D

Just been sorting out more paperwork re company account and found some unclaimed expenses receipts totalling £80. These have now been claimed and paid and an OP for £75 made from them (for once I didn't round it up)

On a not so good note, DH dropped his laptop tonight and it has an error. Looks like harddrive may be fatally damaged - so I'm off to take it in tomorrow.... :(

Laptop dead - not even sure if data can be retrieved from it yet :( Desktop pc also dead and has been for a month. We went shopping to look for new laptop for DH today. Got some inspiration to check online for deals, but bought an ex-display touch screen desktop meanwhile.

Made an OP of £30 - £14.20 cashback claimed and I banked my £14.06 cheque from WI today. I've also got some coins I need to count and bag, and should be able to make £20 + from there.

Back to ebay, I have bids on items now totalling £27 - yeay! They end Weds/ Thurs.

Busy day tomorrow - I have NCT paperwork to sort, lots of ironing to do (and 2 loads of washing), my mother's main bday present to buy, need to wrap her and DS3's presents, get him a cake (won;t ahve time to make one), take something back to M&S outlet, check out more laptops with DH (he likes to see and feel them), general housework to do and homework to see to with kids and then balloons to blow up at night and banners to hang ready for Monday morning :D:D

Oh yes - forgot the Tesco shopping.... £101 on grocery shopping (included £10 on bday cards!) and £130 on a Blackberry for DD:eek::eek: so I need to sort that out tomorrow....
