I remember reading about your Disneyland trip when everyone was poorly. Oh no to chicken pox, is DS2 old enough to be bothered by it. Sounds like he has it pretty bad. Virasoothe is a brilliant cream, used it for my DD when she had them.

You're doing brilliantly with OP's and are an example that you can still have a life whilst striving to be MF.

Boo to chicken pox, piriton can help the itch if he's struggling and bicarb in the bath too.

Sounds like you had a great time (apart from illness!) and yay to ebay. I'm struggling to sell anything on there at the moment!

Another vote for piriton from me - really helps a lot. Hope your family are all better soon, and you don't go mad from the isolation of not being able to go anywhere. Once he's feeling a little less poorly, can you find some friends whose kids have already had it who don't mind coming round to play?

Evening all :) Thanks for all teh suggestions re DS2 :) He's 6 and is a very stoic young chap.

DS2 is much brighter today - which is lovely to see. Still very spotty, of course, but there is a glint back in his eye which hasn't been there for most of a week now. He's currently running around the house with DS1. Am hopeful of getting them to the cinema at the end of the week - he'll have been crusted over for a few days then, so won't be contagious, just scabby!! (unless DS3 comes down with it by then, of course....)

Have been parcelling up ebay stuff today. 2 still to pay - one of which is £120! :(:( Has said he'll pay tomorrow.... Have 49 items listed so far for free listing weekend this time around - will look at seeing if I can get to the 100 limit... not much time left to do that, though!

Made an OP today of £60 from coins saved up in my money tin (£56 worth) Will OP the ebay money when I hopefully get the rest.... Should also be able to OP some from DH's account if I can balance our books :) We owe £8048 on the little mortgage now, and I'm sooo keen to get that down asap!

OK, just claimed £100 from paypal and OP'd that. Still need the £120 person to pay up - will OP £100 of that as postage for all teh items will come to £45, plus the ebay fees of appx £20 on my account at the moment.

Getting very addicted to this at the moment to try and get small mtge cleared! :)

£100 OP made from ebay - buyer paid :D:D Have bids on another couple of items and watchers on a few, so should hopefully have another £15 - £25 later in the month :) Still have plenty to list - but keep running out of time on weekends! It's DS1's 12th birthday today - we bought him a 3DS. He really wanted one, and he's had his DS Lite for years and years and it's very battered. We also went out to lunch to Frankie & Bennys (his choice) - used a voucher towards the bill, of course! ;)

Decided to up our DD today by a further £100, meaning our regular OP will be £805.23 wef May. This has the effect that our sub acct 02 will be repaid in Dec of this year and the final MF date has been brought fwd to 08/2016 - which is only 1 month off my target date of July 2016 :j:j (although I now have a probable new target of 12/2015 instead)

Not a good day other than that - Washer Dryer door wouldn't open this morning - called an engineer (£36 call out - deducted off any work to be done) - need new control fascia - parts had snapped off. Out of stock with the m'facturer (smeg) and not expected for at least a couple of weeks :eek: There are 6 of us - with DH work shirts, 3 lots of school uniform (and rugby kit x1), a grubby todddler...... argh!! M-i-l lives not far away, so I will try and do a wash every other day there and keep up with some of it by hand and not change the beds for a couple of weeks (unless really necessary) - if people are showering/ bathing every day then that won't be too bad :p

We have a fully integrated DW next to the WD - and the door guides broke, meaning that the wooden door has come off - so DH is at B&Q trying to get some more.

Finally, a part has broken on my Dyson this afternoon. Still usable. Off to check Dyson site now to see if they can just send this clippy part, rather than a whole piece....

That's 3 things just today... gotta be it for the month at least!!:D
