So sorry to hear you have lost your Nan. Glad it did not drag on for ages for her (and you). A pain for the house as presumably now probate must be in place before the sale can be finalised. Take care xSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Hugs, greent. Sorry your nan is gone, but good to hear that it was peaceful.
I do hope that the subsequent admin doesn't cause family issues to rise up again.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!2 -
Thank you, everyone xx I'm ok - she had not been happy in the home of late.
SL - you are correct - house sale is on hold until probate is done - argh! (I did say to the Est Agent right at the very start that it would be good to do everything as quick as possible due her age and health.....) And there is sooo much admin of everything to do - most of which is on hold until we have death cert (sometime next week...…) At least the will has been located - took the solicitor 2 days to find it... Ah well, it will all get done eventually!
In other news, it's payday! :j:j:j And I think we are almost tehre for the hol fund - so will be able to redirect monies to OP-ing come Summer (I will keep on with hol fund until we go, tbh - any extra leftover will get OP=ed - or used for house projects.)
Talking of the house, the plasterer never came back to me - and I haven't got around to contacting any others this week (too much other stuff to do!) so I still need to sort that. I'm very tempted to wait until funeral is booked, as at least then all admin appointments will have been taken care of so I'll know which days I'm aroundON the subject of admin, everyone's being very pleasant at the mo - fingers crossed it stays that way....!

Grrrr - lost a long post last night.
Anyway, thank you everyone xxFuneral has now been arranged for 17th Feb - arranging it and keeping everyone happy is.... interesting.....!!
Lots of tiny bits of cash have come in (and I mean tiny) - facebook sale, flebay, tcb, survey payouts - all adding up and all going to the hol fund - yeay! A regular saver has matured so I've sent vast majority to hol fund and small amount to mtge. Every time I think we're 'there' for the hol fund I discover that we're not! Mind you, DD's boyf still owes me around £1k, so that doesn't help!
Did cover work for Y11s and Y10s for school 2 this week - and MFL speaking prep invigilating for school 1 - all whilst DH was in America with work … was very, very tired and was also being phoned by various family & funeral director about stuff, too. Still, all I have planned for this coming week is watching DS3 after school in a Y6 production of Macbeth and a haircut (when I get around to booking one.....) (Obv still sorting death stuff, too) And half term is the following week - no alarms - yippee!!!
