So sorry to hear you have lost your Nan. Glad it did not drag on for ages for her (and you). A pain for the house as presumably now probate must be in place before the sale can be finalised. Take care x

Hugs, greent. Sorry your nan is gone, but good to hear that it was peaceful.

I do hope that the subsequent admin doesn't cause family issues to rise up again.

Thank you, everyone xx I'm ok - she had not been happy in the home of late.

SL - you are correct - house sale is on hold until probate is done - argh! (I did say to the Est Agent right at the very start that it would be good to do everything as quick as possible due her age and health.....) And there is sooo much admin of everything to do - most of which is on hold until we have death cert (sometime next week...…) At least the will has been located - took the solicitor 2 days to find it... Ah well, it will all get done eventually!

In other news, it's payday! :j:j:j And I think we are almost tehre for the hol fund - so will be able to redirect monies to OP-ing come Summer (I will keep on with hol fund until we go, tbh - any extra leftover will get OP=ed - or used for house projects.)

Talking of the house, the plasterer never came back to me - and I haven't got around to contacting any others this week (too much other stuff to do!) so I still need to sort that. I'm very tempted to wait until funeral is booked, as at least then all admin appointments will have been taken care of so I'll know which days I'm around :) ON the subject of admin, everyone's being very pleasant at the mo - fingers crossed it stays that way....! ;)

Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to update the 2020 MFW thread - assuming the interest shows as being debited on the account in the morning :)
