Some impressive OP going on here - well done! I'm just about to start the journey of OP and these diaries are very motivational!Mortgage free by 40...

July 2011 £137,044; Aug 2011 £136,465; Sep 2011 £134,765; Apr 2012 ~£85,000
Overpayments to date £46,750 (Since June 2011)
April 2022, age 40, £0...honest, I'll get there! :j0 -
Another £75 OPd today. This knocks £86.78 off from the end figure - so a saving of only £16.78 interest, I guess. I'm trying not to be disheartened at how little (comparatively) interest is saved in OPs - I know it's because we've got a reasonable balance and we're paying it off quite quickly (current end date = 04/2017). Doesn't help taht I'm on a downer in general today

I know it feels like a long way off still, but we will get there. Its not supposed to be easy, especially when you have lots of mouths to feed, now cheer up and give yourself a pat on the back, and thats an order.:DMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -

I've only got about £50 of cashback pending at the moment. No plans to buy anything else to generate any more, either
Have a couple of small ebay sales (about £5 after charges) to sort - need to list some more stuff on there.... I keep saying this and don't actually do anything about it!!
