down to earth but it's done and I figure any little help on the push forward will reduce the debt so keep doing what your doing :-) x
Hey Happy, how you doing?
You're right it does hit hard when you spend but then it's a kinda wake up call too - I have already decided that I am taking back a dress I purchased yesterday as not 100% sure on it and therefore think it may well end up being a waste of money - job for a lunch break me thinks!
I'm trying to think forward positively as to what my life will be like when my wages are not taking up with bills, be it household or debt bills....keeping that in mind to stay focused....I just need to aim to reduce my outgoings, therefore making things easier and then eventually becoming debt free.....easier said than done though as something always comes up :mad:0 -
Well I am stashing pay off debts in a jar when month end comes I know it's the all clear I will pay a debt off :-) then I stilll have a safety net for just incase issues lol xI AM A MONEY MAGNET, THEY ARE MAKING MORE MONEY FOR ME AS WE SPEAK:pMIKES MOB, DFW NERD 1071, DFW LHS 132!MIRACLES HAPPEN I'VE SEEN IT WITH MY OWN EYES. That's a good idea hun, I need to have a think about how I am going to factor in the expenses such as bdays, xmas and car etc....got to buy new pair of glasses as lost mine when camping and hate wearing contact lenses every day (more expense!)....it's these little things that all add up and take the spare money away - need to plan ahead a little I think.
Still aiming to concentrate on Lloyds CC as once cleared i'll be approx £90 per month better off...what better incentive eh!

Definatley. I'm doing some diy and hopefully still have room to pay next card off so win win. Make a budget that's realistic and comfortable. You can still make a difference what you don't want is such a tight budget that you go off the rails all the time and end up no better off :-) xxI AM A MONEY MAGNET, THEY ARE MAKING MORE MONEY FOR ME AS WE SPEAK:pMIKES MOB, DFW NERD 1071, DFW LHS 132!MIRACLES HAPPEN I'VE SEEN IT WITH MY OWN EYES. £90 is a great incentive!!
Good luck.
Glad you had a fab weekend!
I am well and truely back on the wagon. Eating a lot better and i am really watching what i spend with a spend diary
Easy how the left over money just disappears! As a couple we have £315 left after paying all bills and setting back money for clothes, car tax, car maintenance, entertainment and birthdays. As i am spending i am allocating that spend to a particular budget so see what our 'left over' money is spent on. So far - Present for the kids £4, over spend on diesel £1.41 , batteries for kids toy £3.29, Bus fare £2.74, DD1 school photo £9.50.! £20.74 gone already!!
Forgot about the bliming school phot0 too!! Just sawtoday that a cheque had come out for £9.50 - took ages to realise what it was for!!!
I hope you are having a great day xOrange Fairy

Hey Kel,
You're sounding super organised again! It's funny when you slip a little, just how frustrating it can be!! I'm well and truely back on the MSE/getting orgainised wagon now....feeling better for it already too.
Have put myself down for 3hrs overtime this evening - will mean a really long day but needs must. Also means I can't go anywhere to spend any money :rotfl:

Evening Choc, sounds like you had a nice weekend.
I need to get back to the debtbusting too - I've been finding too many excuses to spend recently and now I'm just feeling bad about it.
Hope the overtime doesn't dragThis time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -
