    Todays list -
    • daily scratch card (DONE)
    • check online banking (DONE)
    • put some washing on (DONE)
    • clear the flat (its a bit of mess as neither of us really been here :o) (PART DONE IN LUNCH BREAK)
    • clear my work tray and perhaps work a little overtime this eve. (NO WHERE NEAR...PEOPLE JUST KEEP THROWING MORE AT ME :eek:_
    • SLEEP! (WILL MOST DEF BE DOING LATER!)
Not doing too badly, list nearly done and will finish off flat later this evening so it's neatly spruced and hoover through.

I have pulled out one of my many notebooks to start a spending diary as of payday on Friday :) Made sure it wasn't one of my pretty one....although I think perhaps having a pretty one would stop me spending even more as I wouldn't want to write anything in it :rotfl:

Need to sit down and work out a 'proper' spending budget for myself weekly wise and stick to it.....cash all the way for me from Friday in an attempt to have some money left over to actually overpay a debt - seems there is always something of late  Car insurance is due end of the month and also our holiday comes out of this payday - two things I forgot about until recently so not sure how much overpaying will be done but I will try my best

Anyhow, back to it - catch up later lovelies :) xx

Oooh I've been soooooooo bad at keeping a spending diary this month:o I will start again on payday :T

Well done on getting most things crossed off your list today :)

I was fiddling with Mum's lappy earlier and installed igoogle for her, one of the widgets you can get is a to do list, think I'm going to add that to mine. If it's there every time I go on the internet it might prompt me to do more of it.

Hope you're having a good day xx

Me too but I vow to keep it daily from Friday onwards - you with me?! I'll check up on you if you do me :p

Just been doing a mini buget for payday and after all payments out I think I have approx 400 for the month and that's including after paying car insurance in full for the year :j (if didn't have car insurance would have been over £600 - wow!! Damn car ) Now I know working this overtime has been worth it as normally never ever have that much left - woo hoo :T

So.....all being well (that overtime is actually paid!) I now have to work out what to do with the money - any suggestions?? This will be to cover petrol, general living for 'me' but remember I have no food cost as my lovely OH is paying this for a few month, awww :A I do have holiday to Scotland and Wales for first week in June to cover. I'm scared that i'm just going to spend it - that would make me feel sick :eek::eek:

I was thinking £30 spends a week - to cover everything from petrol, toiletries, social spends etc. Then go on hols, with budget with OH worked out in theory and then see what's left in account when I come back perhaps??? Also aiming to spend less than the £30 per week between now and when we go away in June.

Holiday itself entertainment wise is free as walking/climbing but it's the travel costs (driving to Scotland) from as probably as far south as you can get as opposite the IOW!!! and also food costs etc - that said we're travelling with OH's brother and girlfriend so costs can be split which should help.

Forgot to mention, lovely OH was in little village yest and saw a lovely watercolour canvas of a cat (looked just like mine including the way it's curled up) and brought it for me.....he's lovely, isn't he! It's only little but has brightened up my desk for office at home and makes me smile - have one real pic of the little fella one side and then the water colour canvas the other side - happy days :)

My gosh i've been rambling - sorry! Hope I haven't bored anyone :oxx
