You guys are making me hungry now and i'm trying to be good after so much lovely food at the weekend!!!

So back on the DFW and sensible eating plans again - life is such a bore! Nah, not really - if anything having this weekend to myself has just reminded me why I want to get rid of this debt once and for all - to have a life! Not just a life, but one that I want rather than having 800 quid of my hard earned money going towards debts and then another 550 quid going on household bills....grrrr  Get the picture!!!!

So, being super good for Choc from now on and a few months hard work to really get the ball rolling - fingers crossed it'll all pay off.

Off to get me a coffee, so tired as couldn't sleep for thinking about money and numbers flying through my head.....nightmares actually :p xx

Evening Choc, you have done a stunning job blitzing your debt :T

Your email earlier has really given me a kick up the butt as I have been getting a bit lazy where our finances are concerned so I'm off to look through the budgets again tonight to see what else I can save.

Hope you have a good evening, Pen x
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x

Thanks Pen :) It's easy to get lazy and sometimes it can be all consuming but with a bit of focus i'm sure we can really make a difference. My main goal is to make 2010 count debt wise and as I think i've said before in previous posts, I don't want to be saying the same things come 2011 - like 'this year i'm really going to work on my debts' or I think i'll cry as have been saying it for as long as I can remember :(

On a positive note, OH has kindly said tonight that from now on he'll pay for all the food shops for our household to help me out a little and take the pressure off....on one condition thought.....that I stop buying magazines as he's not prepared to fund that habit :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: He's a super star :A I'm hoping that having OH help out literally with the finances will make me even more determined as don't want to think i'm just taking him for granted and spending the spare money on having a good time.

Off to bed in a mo as have lovely trip to London tomorrow - in office for some meetings - boring! Hate it as means i'm up at 5am and home at I don't know when

Have a lovely evening everyone xx

    Morning :hello:

Feel a little more rested although still tired, was lying awake gone midnight so opted to get up and lay on the couch. Think I must of dozed off as woke up at about 5am wondering where I was! Then tottered off back to bed and got up about 7ish - not great but at least I had some sleep. Wondering why I can't seem to drop off, not normally my problem  Hopefully tonight will bring me one lovely long restful sleep! Staying off the caffine from lunchtime just to be sure it's not that or something simple as eating dinner late etc - we shall see.

So, nearly payday :j come Friday hopefully i'll be making some nice payments with any luck :D Although OH reminded me that car insurance due end of month, why do they always turn up when you think you have some money to play with  There is always something.

OH goes away Friday to next Thurs - blissful restful evenings ahead for Choc and a bed all to myself :p

    Todays list -
    • daily scratch card
    • check online banking
    • put some washing on
    • clear the flat (its a bit of mess as neither of us really been here :o)
    • clear my work tray and perhaps work a little overtime this eve.
    • SLEEP!
Hope everyone has a lovely day xx

No news yet kel, we're getting frustrated - how long do you wait for someone to find a house? It'll be three months since we had our offer accepted at end of May - I just want to move and preferably before the summer ends so that we can enjoy our garden:) I'm worried they might decide not to sell but then we've been told they 'need' to move for business purposes....oh it stresses me
