I tend to lurk on this thread:o I just want to say thank you to whoever posted the link for frarant pork and rice one pot last week. I made it last night and it was gorgeous and more amazing was my very picky DS2 ate it and asked for seconds:eek: It's one of the few things the whole family like:D

I think that was me, but I never actually got round to making it as I stayed at my sisters and had dinner that night! I'll have to try it next month now that it's been tried and tested :D

    Monday - spaghetti bolognese

Tuesday - tuna, sweetcorn and pea pasta bake

Wednesday - maple and pepper-glazed chicken with roasted carrots

Thursday - stuffed pepper with potato wedges

Friday - scampi, chips and peas

Saturday - chicken with creamy pesto and broad beans

Sunday - gammon, probably with potatoes and parsley sauce, but will see if I can find other ideas in the week

I've swapped Monday and Wednesday as i've run out of chicken (how did that happen?!) so will get some when i'm back at work on Tuesday as only have a few shops where I live.

The porkand rice 1 pot was on my menu plan too (but no linky!). I did make it and it was ok for a superquick tea but a bit lacking in flavour for me. I'd make it again but add more garlic and onions, a bit more of the spices and some chilli too.

Hi everybody - I'm a bit late this week but had people over this w/e and couldn't quite think beyond that. Now they have left and I can take stock. Will be as follows:

mon - leftover lapin chasseur with mashed potatoes and peas & carrots
tues - spicy root veg & lentil casserole
wed - tarragon chicken (picked up a huge organic chook at a farmers market yesterday)
thur - 'bottom of the fridge' special in SC, with brown rice and lamb's lettuce
    fri - falafel
sat - roast chicken legs in sweet chili sauce (2nd outing of organic chicken), couscous and veg.
sun - chicken fricassee made with stock of same chicken and rest of chicken meat, served with spinach and noodles. Or maybe it will be something else as I realise it's Easter, but I'm totally unprepared for it! Any case I'll make a trifle because that's DH's holiday treat.

    Thanks for all your ideas!
