Thanks for getting us started, Kadeeae.
I've generally been pretty good at sticking to my mealplans for the past few weeks, so hopefully I can keep it going this week. (OK, I abandoned my mealplan entirely tonight and had chilli pasta bake instead, but apart from that I've been very good!
)
This week I've got:
Friday - Indian "fakeout" - chicken curry (bought, but RTC), naan bread (possibly HM, possibly bought - I haven't decided yet) and onion bhajis (definitely bought, although I keep intending to try making my own)
Saturday - I'm probably going out, but there's plenty of stuff in the freezer if I change my mind
Sunday - prawn satay skewers, naan bread and salad
Monday - BBQ chicken lasagne
Tuesday - Portuguese braised steak and onions, mash and a green veg of some sort
Wednesday - LO gardener's pie (in the freezer from a couple of weeks ago) with sliced ham
Thursday - ham and mushroom pizza
I'm also intending to try making a banoffee pie this weekend, as the bananas supplied by my veg box company are too ripe for me to want to eat them as they are.
(Sorry, it's been a long day today!) Back after a very long break!0 -
Here we go again!!
Friday - Homemade curry and rice and using up some rtc bahjis etc lurking in bottom of freezer.
Sat lunch - leek and potato soup hm
tea - rtc pizzas and chips
Sun lunch - lentil and chorizo soup
tea - Roast lamb and trimmings
Mon - Cornish pasties, boiled pots, veg and gravy
Tues - Chicken and veg pasta bake made by daughter at school will serve with a salad and garlic bread.
Weds - Bean and veggie casserole to use up some tinned pulses.
Thurs - HM quiche and jacket pot
Fri - Bacon and fish o'leekie for most of us and something thats lurking in bottom of freezer for hubby as he wont eat fish.
Any lunches not mentioned are sandwiches for hubby and i as kids eat at school. Kids have cereal and fruit for brekkie.
Not looked through for cakes/snacks yet Kadeeae but contemplating a simnel cake as never done one before.Plusif son is on duty for cadets he likes to take a stash of goodies with him to share out with fellow volunteers.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j
