You seem to be confusing the word harsh with the word honest? Sometimes the truth is not what you want to hear, it does not make it harsh and it certainly does not make it disrespectful!
You were the person who used the words harsh here. I was always taught that if you couldn't say anything kind or useful, don't say anything at all.
I'm not looking for sympathy, here, just help. You obviously have none of that so butt out!

Ah yes but there are many ways to phrase the truth - some harsh, some acceptable, some pleasant, etc.

I have to agreed with DGJ on this and I don't feel he was harsh in way. It's just the truth but sometimes the truth isn't what people want to hear.
Good luck with the loan OP.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Any ideas of what to do next??
Apparently I went £1. 60ish over my credit limit (thought I'd used another card!) on my Virgin money credit card, in November without my realising it so they removed my 0% interest and have been whacking me with £44 approx per month plus £12 per month for going over my limit!! I check that my DD goes out of my bank to them every month and admit I've been a bit lax on checking my statements, but I never use the card so thought there was no problem!
I've just been told that they won't do anything about it and I'm gutted!!
Its not the end of the world.
Just dont make the same mistake again! No Unapproved or Personal links in signatures please - FT30 -

Good luck with the loan OP.
Reading through this I too have to agree with DGJ. You should of picked up on this while looking at either your credit card statement or your bank account with the extra amount being taken. Did you not spot the extra £56 payment. Not watching your statements either paper or online is financially stupid.Phone back and try again. Every CS department has good and bad people.
CannyJock is right - its worth trying again, you never know you might get lucky.
Good luck.0 -

I think I have identified your problem here - you do not read what is in front of you! I only used the word harsh in response to your posting.
If you cannot read things correctly, should you really be trusted with a credit card?Ah yes but there are many ways to phrase the truth - some harsh, some acceptable, some pleasant, etc.

DGJsaver was more than polite. The only problem that the OP had with DGJsaver's post was that it was not what they wanted to hear (the truth)!Gone ... or have I?0
