Any ideas of what to do next??
Apparently I went £1. 60ish over my credit limit (thought I'd used another card!) on my Virgin money credit card, in November without my realising it so they removed my 0% interest and have been whacking me with £44 approx per month plus £12 per month for going over my limit!! I check that my DD goes out of my bank to them every month and admit I've been a bit lax on checking my statements, but I never use the card so thought there was no problem!
I've just been told that they won't do anything about it and I'm gutted!!

It's no consolation but you're not the first and won't be the last to have this happen. Some people advocate grovelling and pleading to get the 0% rate reinstated but it sounds as if you've left it too long. Are you for real? - Glass Half Empty??

I tried the grovelling and pleading and got nowhere, was speaking to a sanctimonious little er... person!!0

Companys who give 0% deals are PRAYING to get customers who cant mange their finances properly , you have given them what they wanted....0

Well I won't be any more- am looking for other deals! Think I'm better off with a loan! At least I know what I'm paying out then.0

Good luck with the loan  And I trust you'll be checking your online accounts more regularly?

I dont want to be harsh , but you already had a great deal , you just failed to stick to your side of it...
Er, you were being harsh and it doesn't help, do you not think I feel stupid enough??
Don't you just love it when people say, I don't want to be harsh or with the greatest of respect then go on to be harsh and disrespectful

You seem to be confusing the word harsh with the word honest? Sometimes the truth is not what you want to hear, it does not make it harsh and it certainly does not make it disrespectful!Gone ... or have I?0 -

Don't take it to heart, some of us are used to trying to explain to people to won't listed even if you bash them over the head with the truth, you obviously being the exact opposite! I'm sure no malice was intended
Bottom line though tis just another learning curve which you have obviously learned from, and will check your statements more fastidiously than before?
