Our wedding cake was 3 tiers and we bought them from M&S just plain - fruit and sponge. One of the tiers - the icing got damaged in transit so they gave us a free bottle of expensive champagne! But this got covered up. We got (Sugar?) flowers from the cake shop matching our theme and assembled ourselves (Well my mam). The flowers were white because they didn't do them in our colour theme - blue so my mam dusted them with the special cake dust. Our cake topper was a silver me-to-you tatty teddy couple!
Our cake cost no more than £100 and it was amazing and personal!
