Thing is, you never hear from the happy customers (or rarely, GetRealBabe!). It's the same with any provision, service or company: you generally hear the negative stories.0

What's racist about it??!! It's just stating a fact!
Besides, if a company is foreign-owned, is that not likely to have an impact on customer service levels? It is being controlled from afar. Would be the same if it was the other way round - a British company offering services or a product in Germany (not that this happens very often!)0 -
Stating npwer is german owned is no more racist than stating edf is french0

Or scottish power, Spanish. Maybe it should be called Spanish power0

True but this survey reflects the 6 big utility companies so it equally reflect all of them of customer who aren't happyThing is, you never hear from the happy customers (or rarely, GetRealBabe!). It's the same with any provision, service or company: you generally hear the negative stories.0

They are like political parties, they are all as bad as each other! I've worked for British Gas briefly and also worked for Powergen, from my experience I'd say British Gas were dodgier, on the sales side certainly.0

Absolutely the worst company I have ever done business with - and heaven knows that's saying something!
Fining NPower isn't sufficient - clearly it has no effect. The shareholders should be deprived of their assets on the grounds that they have not summarily dismissed the board of directors for gross incompetence.0 -

Are Npowers call centres in Germany then?
Thats the only way that would have an impact!Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -
Call-centres don't make the big decisions - senior management does. The more remote senior management are from their customers, the smaller the grip on reality they have0
