Worth a go I suppose, another meal I can add to the rubber chicken list.0

I wonder if it be worth it to invest in some cheap seeds from somewhere like Lidl or the pound shop and grow coriander on the window-sill? Plus, I reckon that Thai kit needs another chilli or two.0

Another way of doing it would be to make the paste up and freeze this in batchs to use as and when needed."Let your boat of life be light, pack only what you need- A homely home and simple pleasures, one or two friends worth the name, someone to love and someone who loves you, a cat, a dog, a pipe or two enough to eat, enough to wear and a little more than enough to drink, as thirst is a dangerous thing" Jerome k. I regularly knock up a big batch of curry paste and then freeze it. Works like a charm, but remember to separate it into portions first, or you'll need a hammer and chisel to get it apart!0

I've *finally* sussed when my local sainsbugs reduce things to pennies (I sweetly asked the man with the magic gun what time he would be doing second reductions) but have had to pass on a couple of things because I didn't know how well they would freeze. Would I, for example, be able to freeze clotted cream or houmous? Is there anything that absolutely can't be frozen?
I'm sure there's probably a thread about this somewhere but I can never work the search function on here...

I freeze humous in individual portions as no one else likes it - clotted cream never lasts long enough to need too!People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

I've never had any luck freezing uncooked cauliflower or mangetout peas. I think that have to be at least part cooked first.Unofficial Debt Free Wannabee.
