BT to amend residential prices - the ups and downs

Primus are, AFAIAA, still in a state of confusion with their 084/087 rates and appear to charge 0845 rates for all 0844 calls - so, for example, calls to 0844 numbers for which BT would charge you 0.5p/minute, will be quite expensive using Primus.thegreybeard wrote:Many thanks.
What I am trying to do is to avoid paying a connection charge and, hopefully, be charged per second, when calling 0844.
Can it be done, ie with Primus Saver2?Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
