Just to update you. The buyer has left me negative feedback.

.......... but hey ho, my Karma is good.

I am pleased to report, I got a very nice letter from RM and partial recompense.

Some buyers are unbelievable, it's a shame now that you didn't ask them to return at their expense for a full refund and then it would have been more justified.

If they had made a Paypal dispute then I believe they would have been successful and I would have ended up paying the cost of return?

I was a little annoyed, but life is too short and "what goes around ...... " :A

With most Paypal disputes the buyer has to send ot back tracked to get a refund once you've received.
At least you know that you acted fairly unlike them.

    Harsh.
If you sorted it out with a full refund, it should have been positive.

I would reply underneath the negative with "damaged in transit, full refund given. Buyer didn't even have to return item!"

There's just no pleasing some people, and the fact they left a negative actually makes me think that they dropped it or something!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

I suspect many buyers are not as sympathetic as you. They will not read the comments, just see a big red negative against my last transaction.

Thanks to all for your comments :T

All buyers I know always look at negative feedback, and so long as the seller has responded in a calm way (i.e no capital letters or abusive language), then it doesn't put us off in the slightest!

If you follow up the neg with words to the effect of above, most buyers will actually ignore the neg, but sellers will be wary over your buyer, as it actually shows them in the bad light & not you.
