PS3 HDMI Connection Problems

its weird,i dont know if maybe its an issue with the spec of HDMI port?
if you have a friend with a 360 or something else HDMI,maybe get them to try it on the TV as well?

^ yes going to try and borrow one today.

I was on the phone to the tv engineer this morning and they seemed to know it was a faulty hdmi board straight away. The woman on the phone said is it a sky plus box or a ps3 that isn't working before I had chance to mention it myself.

Just makes me think it is a common fault with a lot of tvs, but a lot of people may not know about it if they don't have anything that is hd to test it out.

I am covered because it is still under warranty, but other people may not be so lucky.

I better also add that I don't actually know if anything is faulty until the engineer has been out and actually had a look.

I tried a friends PS3, (the original version, which I know works on other tvs too), and it didn't work either.

So it does appear to be a faulty HDMI input board on my tv.

Just waiting for the part and the engineer to come and fix it.

Engineer came round, changed the PCB, problem solved in 15 mins.
