My mum comes to me for dinner.... where am I going wrong
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

What happened there then??
I've been training them into it tbh. I go round there every weekend so they've come to expect it now
I do invite them back but its nowhere near as often. The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0 -
no extra spends... work travel so work paid dinner and lunch.. and flight delayed on way home so got a free feed off BA too. Was a long delay but ok cos no one else was using the telly.. so I got to watch everything I'd see at home *but* their lounge was cleaner than mine and someone else made the coffee

Had spent £39.89.
Managing ok without cigs now they have run out.
Mate came over last night for BB and we had the homemade pizzas, which she liked so much she is off to Lidl for pizza toppings today :-)
Followed by apple pie.
She also brought over vodka. Hic! Long lie today, followed by free exercise looking at all the houses which sold in my area since April and seeing how much they went for
We then went to the pub for lunch! £2.49 for spud and cheese and £1.10 for coke.
£43.48 spent. Cupboard still chokka, freezer less full! Quiet night in with video games tonight. Might make up some icecream.. except my butt is sooo big atm!! and can't afford bigger jeans.Debt free 4th April 2007.

I am hoping to spend less in August, being more carefull now. Not easy though. Went to Tesco to get saturday paper and could not resist their custard tarts, they are so yami. Everytime I go shopping I end up with at least 3 items I did not really need. This month however, I decided to cut back. Cats refusing to eat cheap food, Wiskas they like and leftovers from our dinner (meat only obviously).Emmzi wrote:It doesn't seem wild to me, but you could certainly cut back on that. 'Too much' is relative - can you afford it? Probably not right now. You can *probably* do your family and cats fpr about £100 with some determination (my £60 includes b/f eating a lot at weekends!) and a lot of cooking from scrtach.Debtfee from 20090 -

Hmm.. where did jessicamb go? Am I all alone now??
£43.48 plus £2.99 for wine was bad enough.. spent £2.20 on voddie and coke out in Edinburgh this week... and £1 on chips last night! And am off to Lidl for coke (1.09) and ice cream (whatever is on special or79p vienetta style if nothing cheaper)
So I reckon I am at £51.55!!
However.. at home all next week (hols) and freezer packed... *might* make it!!Debt free 4th April 2007.

I'm here
I've been really busy so tracking the spending has gone a bit by the wayside. I reckon I'm up to about £56 spent so far
I'll have an add up soon.
I'll struggle to make it to be honest but I'll try and mitigate the damages as best I can.
