Which music player do you prefer?

VLC for me because it plays anything, has a straightforward interface and doesn't try to do stupid things like sync a media player or dump all your media into a "library" when you aren't looking.

Just use command 'sudo apt-get install amarok' on command line and that should do the trick. 'sudo apt-get install kde' might also be reguired cause amarok uses kde rather than gnome, wich is the default for Ubuntu.
