I'm glad you don't have the move to contend with and hope you are settling in ok. Please come back tomorrow and tell us how you have got on. Fingers crossed for you.

Sandy, if I was nearer and not 170 miles each way trip, I would be there in person to support you, so I am paying my bus fare for the virtual bus, ding ding rings the bell and it moves off on its way. xxxx
Wrapped and posted 2 ebay parcels.
Not done much, at all.

OK it's time to declutter my conscience. I have already moved to York a few weeks ago:o I have been travelling back down to see my neuro but now this has all happened I need to get established here
sending you hugs.. I'm sure I'm not speaking out of turn when I say that the support you have on here isn't going to go away just because you were trying to protect your family. You have my support (FWIW!) in any case.. you need to concentrate on you at the moment, and know that you have several virtual busloads of people here ready to support you too
onestepWhen people show you who they are, believe them the first time0 -
Just popping in quickly to send love and hugs before catching the train to York for the conference. Getting a bit excited now, but also nevous, as I'm not very brave about new places and people I don't know!
QUOTE]
Hope you have a great time. I'm a little bit envious, as my two colleagues/friends and I had hoped to go on Saturday, but the last few weeks have been so busy, that it would just have been too much. I'm sure you'll love it.OK it's time to declutter my conscience. I have already moved to York a few weeks ago:o I have been travelling back down to see my neuro but now this has all happened I need to get established here.
It must have been so scary for you. I've had a similar experience (just phone contact, though) and ended up changing our landline number, but it was nowhere near as bad as yours. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow.
I hope you are still up for a drink by the Ouse though (I can understand why you may be hesitant to meet up), whenever it suits you. Or join us [STRIKE]if [/STRIKE] when we manage to get together in the near future. Valli (or anyone else in this area) - what would be the best way to get an Easter meeting off the ground? I'd love to arrange it, but can't spend enough time on here at the moment.0 -
Sandy, of course we still want you to be here! How awful for you to have been going through all that grief with the person you met on the internet, must have been so scarey.
There's lots of us virtually with you tomorrow - what time did you say your appointment is? Sorry if you've already said, got the memory of a forgetful goldfish!!! I'll say a prayer for you tonight (((((Sandy))))).
Rose, hope you have a lovely time tonight; I'm sure you'll enjoy it when you're there.
Piggers, poor you having the goldfish tank depositing its contents everywhere! Good job it didn't happen overnight I guess, bit of pain though.
Mumto5, after you've finished with the painters and decorators can you direct them here please? We're in desperate need!
Holly, sorry to hear you've been unwell; I wondered where you'd got to. Just don't try to do too much as soon as you start improving as it's so easy to overdo it.
Serena, hope the conference goes well and see you on Sunday. I'm sure it'll be fine, I don't like going to new places either so know what you mean.
Leed, it's very amazing what the Drs can do and sounds like they've done wonders with your DD's friend. It does seem a bit mad to discharge her only a few days after the op, but probably better than getting the superbug. I know they've got D&V doing the rounds at hospitals here and it's causing chaos.
Soappie, Buster sounds like fun!
Onestep, you're doing really really well so don't worry if you can't do all 3 levels - just do what you can!
Toots, have a nice quiet evening after your busy day today honey - sounds like you've done a lot!
LameWolf, we had some blue tits I think they were looking in our nesting box so I hoped maybe we'd hear the tweet of little baby birds in due course but haven't seem them for a bit now so think they've given up on the idea.
Just bathed both kids and they had a lovely time with their toys larking around. Loaded the DW, need to put the littlies to bed and then got a bit of hand washing to do and want to tidy the kitchen as Mr T will be here between 8 and 10. Then need to tidy lounge and do another typing job. Had a good day today though, and even DD said to me Mummy your depression is better now isn't it - very sweet!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Speaking as someone else in the middle of decorating.. get it done!! Just don't be falling off any ladders!
I am halfway through the kitchen.. repainting after the fire 15 months ago.. THEN.. I am going to be tiling.. you are pregnant not broken or disabled!! I have spent most of my pregnancies decorating. it makes the time go quicker and you will never get it done once sproggit arrives!
over easter I am doing DD1's room.. and then the boys room, the landing/hallway and my room.. All before summer holidays hopefully!!
Have I ever told you I love your no nosense approach to everything??:D:rotfl:I love reading your responses on not just this thread but others!
I will help DH with the decorating BUT will be careful and wont do anything stupid like swinging from lampshades or anything;) When I was PG with DS I decorated his bedroom and was constantly moving his wardrobe around as I was never happy with where it was:o
I do feel broken with everything going on though!!:pBLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
Sandy - I'm still on the bus but we really need to know what time your appointment is so that as a group we can collectively concentrate on you and just YOU and send vibes winging their way to you so please please tell us what time

pigpen Go you!!! dont know how you manage to cope with all your brood never mind decorate as well!!! but at least you have a good workmate now:D oh no what a mess - poor fish too they must be traumatised!
holly (((hugs))) honey that is soooooooo not like you - you are always on top of things - hope you feel better PDQ and can get things under control again
Sandy you were doing what you needed to do to protect your family - of course you are still welcome - i am glad you are nearer your family and I do hope you will talk to them and get someone to go with you - maybe not for tomorrow but for the future - be warned we are not psychos but we are all as mad as hatters!!!! we will still be there with you in spirit - wonder if your consultant is nice looking? watch out for Valli she might muscle in;)
Mumof2 Nice to hear from Lo that you are doing better - they speak as they see so it must be true:D
