Sandy - I'm glad that you've got an appointment but I'm very worried about you going all that way on your own with no support. Can any family help?
ATTENTION ALL YORK FLYLADIES - IS ANYONE AROUND TOMORROW TO LOOK AFTER SANDY???
I'd be with you if I could, but it's a bit far for me. However, we'll all be with you in spirit as we were last week, and we expect you to report in as soon as you can (maybe text someone who can post if you don't feel up to it yourself?) as we'll be worrying about you. Lots of ((((hugs))) and flylady vibes heading your way.
I'm in York - what time is the appointment and how is Sandy coming?:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

1 step
I reckon they only need doing a couple of times a year. It bothers me that Piggers puts them on the list in the winter when there's no chance of line drying!
However, if you feel they don't need doing, you can either cross that off automatically, or if you're feeling conscientious, substitute it for another job that does need doing in that room.
Right, just having a break. The kitchen is all done. It always takes me ages because it's so big. Will start on the living room nextI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Oh, and I'm dead excited! I got the council to put two bird boxes up on the trees at the bottom of my garden a couple of years ago. There's been absolutely no interest whatsoever until the last couple of days. I have two Great Tits hopping in and out of them. I'm hoping, finally, there may be nests. It is, however, proving a great time waster - standing at the kitchen window watching the action.... I may consider resurrecting Buster  if they do actually nest....
We have a pair of Long Tailed Tits visiting the feeders regularly, so I reckon they have a nest nearby. I hope, anyway.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
jjef thats great to have got all the ou stuff away - is that you totally finished now?
keys thats great news about the decorating - something to look forward too
boddy good to 'ear your ear is sorted - sorry!!!:rotfl:
Jassa awh honey thats sad for you and your DD - hope she is ok (((hugs)))
JillD it will take a little while for your system to get used to the AD's but dont let it go on - maybe that kind dont agree with you - good news about your course. If tiredness is affecting DS's ticks then you will maybe have to adjust his lifestyle a bit and make sure he has 'rest' times? sorry pet I no nothing about Aspergers but I know how i am when tired. (((hugs))) I hope you begin to feel better soon but dont beat yourself up in the meantime.
smartie no wall papering for you - get someone else to do it!!!! hope the toe feels better soon
Sandy thats good that you are establishing a connection in York and will get to meet and see the dept sooner than you expected - its a sensible idea since you are going to live there. cant you get someone from the family to meet you there? and stop being stubborn is ther no-one that you know that you could ask -we will all be thinking of you and if we can all squeeze on the bus we will all be in the clinic with you - poor consultant!! well done for getting started on the flinging - moving house is the bestest time for that - i keep telling myself i am moving but it doesnt seem to work I still have clutter!!.
LameWolf sorry to hear you have a phone phobia- what if there was an emergency? is it because you dont know who is on the line - you could get a caller display?
Choccybix (((hugs))) hope the day goes as well as possible.
cally how frustrating about your card.
Mumof2 get well and get out vibes for your DH and I am delighted you are feeling better after your chat. (((hugs)))
I have had a busyish day and maybe just maybe done a tad too much!!!!! not much off my list but loads of little jobs - have been decluttering the bedroom before my visitors next week - it wasnt that bad because I like it tidy but its even better now and the wardrobe was emptied so there's some stuff for the charity shop.
toots xxPeace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

Same as Greenbee, obviously family to go with you would be better and OH best of all, if he's not working can't/won't he come with you, or does the train/bus fare make it prohibitive?
If cyclingyorkie can't make it, I am just over an hour away from the centre of York but am tied with school times and would be happy to take time off work and be there anytime between 10.30am and 2pm. Just let us know the time, pm me if you like.
Turkey casserole and jackets in the oven, everywhere tidied, upstairs hoovered by DS1 (fair exchange for his 80p bus fare this morning). Coffee being decluttered, not sure whether to carry on with decorating after tea, the light will be poor and I run the risk of doing too much (still delicate) but desperately want it done

afternoon everyone
glad to see Sandy is back - I don't know anyone here, but everyone here seems like they're a big flying family and rooting for her :T
Monday all 3 levels done
Tuesday all 3 levels done
Does that mean I get 2 stars????
I'm still working on Wednesdays list ( I went on a school trip with DD's class yesterday so not too much time for flying) ..but there's no way I'm going to get all 3 levels done on todays thoThe study is far too much of a bomb site to complete this week:eek:. I've done 2 lots of 5 minutes in there, and it's made a real difference!!! So I'll put that on my dailies list I think. Bathrooms look good though
thanks again for the kick up the ..*cough* Finding you lot on here was just what my house needed!

# Ta-da # Monday done. I'm going to do my bedroom now (I need to - the dog has shredded a tissue all over the floor!)
Oh for those who don't know, Buster is a networked webcam which I used a couple of years ago to try and catch a perp who was parking on my drive. Some of the flyladies kept watch for me. Never caught the perp, but we had a lot of fun!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
