Thank you for those who sent better toe vibes... sadly it's till stinky and yucky:o:( Hopefully the antibiotics will kick in soon and I've been soaking it.

I did manage to sort out my magazine rack yesterday (whilst sitting on backside) which had turned into a home for everything but magazines!!

We're going to Homebase tomorrow to get wallpaper so it'll be "operation decorate living/dining room"!! Any wallpapering tips???

Off to have a nose on facebook in a mo, took DD for her first Horse riding lesson last night - had to lead her round and run a bit - nearly lost me jeans when the horse stood on the bottom of them and I stepped away, had to grab my waist band to save people from the hideous site of my bum [makes the horse's bum look small!!] Ex KH came for a nosey - bloomin cheek considering he told DD that I was an old nag!! Get my mouth tightly closed for the sake of DD as she was pleased to see him, boy, I can't wait till she gets older and starts to see him for the KH he is

    See you all later

Oh, nearly forgot, positive vibes winging there way to those who wanted them and its nice to see you back xxJoxx

Speaking as someone in middle of decorating - get someone else to do it, is my best tip. :D You mustn't be climbing up ladders or any such stuff anyway, Smartie, my girl, supervising only for you :p.

Other than that, if you've never wallpapered before, get someone who is proficient to give you a demonstration/tips, take your time, remember it may shrink when dry and be sure to hang the pattern the right way up :D.

My paint is going on v..e..r...y.. slowly, stupid lumpy blown vinyl (daren't take it off because I know a lot of the plaster will fall off (experience from other rooms) and can't find money in budget for plasterer at moment.

Just de-cluttered lunch and must get on.

We did think about getting someone in to do it but we're going to try by ourselves!! *bites nails* :rotfl: I've done some in the past with help but DH has never done any:eek: It'll be an experience!

It's been about 4 years since I started painting the bathroom:o We're going to finish that as well:D

It WILL all be done by the time little bean will be here... as long as he's not early!!;):rotfl:

Had that happen to me once - 20ft of wall had to be redone by ME cos I had no money to get someone in to do it, now I'm very, very wary about stripping blown wallpaper

Im a happy bunny as my ear has been sorted. Went to surgery and 1st appointment I could have with nurse was two weeks time. Then she suggested I rang the primary care access centre. Got one for 10.30am no problem and got it syringed. Been shopping with DD and now decluttering a cuppa before I make a start.
