Just a quick flylady poll - which lawnmower do you have and is it good?

We have an old petrol one which is a bit big and a bit heavy so I need to get a new one - don't want petrol, don't trust electric leads so looking at a traditional push one or a battery.

i'm no use then.. we have 1 petrol one and one electric one!! Both flymo

SAVEALOT .. names are taken off the list if they haven't posted in 4-6 weeks

for those with Flylady/Facebook requests there's SUPPOSED to be a who's who list SOMEWHERE...I think it's on FB.

I have me freezer deforsting - door closed and pans of hot water in there to make a tropical microclimate and melt the ice VERY quickly - it's working;)

Noticed DS has broken a bed castor AGAIN so have replaced it - needed to glue the socket with two step epoxy resin glue (I have an elaborate and extensive collection of glues - thanks to the aforementioned DS and his breaking skills) - and I'm on my SECOND bag of replacement castors *rolleyes* and have turned the bed right round so the castor is now at this end in the hope that it will last a bit longer...
His bed is made in the hope that I can then [STRIKE]nag[/STRIKE] encourage hime to put his dirty...(you SO know the rest)

And DD had left the bikes UNLOCKED in the shed...words will be had...

On a brighter note the Wii power cable that Nintendo so kindly included in the parcel when the repaired and returned the Wii has sold on e bay. (I hadn't sent a cable back)
It had a European plug and I have sold it for just over a quid:rotfl::D Thank goodness for P&P;) and where is the jiffy envelope I put to one side at work ready to post it in if it sold?
    ~sigh~
    at work...:(

My Flymo hover is VERY good at cutting the grass BUT it doesn't pick up so I have to rake...but I was given it so that's why I have it. Electric.
whatever you DO get get a grass box...and they last well if they are regularly serviced.

    ETA Payemnt received.

Trip to Post Office scheduled - when I find alternative packaging...

Coffee drunk - off I go

Had a nightmare this morning, DS2 (leto) managed to trap himself in the upstairs toilet this morning. I ended up having to talk him into getting the vase off the window ledge, climb on top of the toilet and open the bathroom window. Its a good job theres a ledge outside the bathroom window and his room. So there i am in the rain catching a 6 yr old as he is climbing out of the toilet window. I swear i was more scared than he was. DS1 (brandon) my little hero then decides i'm too scared to go out on the ledge so he dives out jumps into the other open window and un-jams the door. Comes out and goes " i've done it mam!". So the rule of no locked doors is back in force.

What a nightmare - my heart was in my mouth just reading it !
    Having a nervous breakdown about DD1's school.:eek::eek::eek:

What's the matter? Have I missed something?

Wish the weather would make up it's mind. It was raining on the school walk now the sun is peeking through the clouds.

Very busy on internet renewing family railcard, booking hotels for my girlie trip to Brighton in June.

It's one of the school mum's birthdays today so we are all going out for lunch after we have dropped the LO's at nursery.

DS2 has a football FINAL today for the School. Please think winning vibes for him.

Better get on with some flying now. I'll report back later.....

    Morning all
its raining here today - thats the first proper rain we have had for a while and typically the day i want to do washing - oh well it will have to wait.

G&B thats good to hear that LO is on the mend again - I will be keeping everything crossed that there is no permanent damage- she doesnt deserve anymore problems - she such a wee star - good luck with the uni work - thats important just now so dont be worrying about housework just make a list for OH!!:rotfl:
puss14 not another night owl/dawn bird!!!! what on earth were you doing up at that time?:rotfl: hope you are feeling a bit better and well done for pacing yourself taking rests - thats a the best way. BTW have you had a welcome pm - I dont see you on the list!
    Diva hello sweetie!
hello kassey! hope you are ok - you always get on and do your list without moaning - you always impress me xx
Ishtar what a worrying time for you all but i am glad you are comfortable with the team looking after her - thats a big plus - they will be well aware of the problems i am sure. They certainly would not be doing the op if the risks were too high. My thoughts and positive vibes are winging their way to you and your Mum xx
onestep yes 5 minutes at a time - dont fret if you dont get the room looking anybetter today - it takes time to conquer something like that - just deal with whatever you lay your eyes/hands on first when you walk in the door and go from there - dont just move things deal with them.
AnW'sMum hope the inspection went ok and the atmosphere is bearable today xx
rach thats great that it went well at work - no reason why it shouldnt if they are reasonable people - thank goodness you are not still in your old job!!!
welcome back SAVEALOT dont worry a couple of weeks on here and you will soon be under control again.
scotdebs dont stress honey do a hhc in each room and you will be amazed at the difference
Dusty I have always had an electric one - the current one is a qualcast rotary.
Mumto5 good luck to the wee footballers - hope they win!!!:j

ok will zoom off and do stars then work of some description
    tootsxx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder
Live each day as if its your last
DFW Nerd #1000 Proud to be dealing with my debts

  • Well, mumto5 there is a distinct lack of oomphh. Partly my fault as I'm a governor, but there is no drive to do really well, just a box ticking exercise, where children are under assessed on entry, so they show the expected progress in each key stage, and no-one bothers to think that maybe some children could do better than that. Will have to do something!

Unloaded wm and reloaded very quickly as realised DD1 had run out of clean knickers.:eek::eek:
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x
