Hi All,

Unusually for me, a mid week flying post, but wanted to stick my head round the door to see how everyone is doing.

My new job is keeping me ultra busy (but happy), so home time is even more stretched, so my deep clean weekends are working well, and the odd jobs in the evening to keep the place reasonable is okay.

I do flit in and out of here all the time to see how everyone is, and hope to get back to regular postings soon xx

DW emptied and stuff put away, kitchen surfaces cleared and wiped (admittedly I still can't see the table, but it's progress of sorts) and proper food cooking for a change (fish cake, broccoli, spinach). Floors are disgusting so might attempt them before bed time if I manage to get the washing up done so I can get to the utility room sink. If not, they'll just have to wait for the weekend.

Got a lovely surprise this morning - a friend I have known since we were 7 years old texted me this morning and suggested, as he was on a rare day off, that we sloped off to the cinema for the afternoon! So I got to see Alice in Wonderland in 3D rather than the bottom of the kitchen bin

Can't beat a day off decluttering some stress!

LO is doing much better thanks for asking Toots/Carlsbergal. She is booked in for a CT scan on monday to see if there is any permanent damage to her lungs.

Not done much flying today, got tonnes of uni work to do so that is taking precedence at the moment.

Hi everyone

Just dashing past, so thought I'd drop in. No flying done today - was working instead. But I'm determined to do a bit more cleaning in the kitchen tomorrow, to get my star, and on Friday I am going to tackle the spare room so my sister (the non-toxic one!) can come and stay.

Will report in for duty tomorrow morning, after doing the shopping at Mr S on the way back from school run.

Must stagger to bed now - I'm shattered. Hope all is well with you all.

Kept on with the decorating but now i'm shattered and i really need to go to bed, been upsince 5:30am and my neighbours are already playing up. Nice, Oh's upstairs asleep so just going to climb striaght in [STRIKE] warm my cold feet on on his back[/STRIKE].

Jobs to be done by Friday

• fix OH's trousers
• paint kitchen ceiling :j:j
• paint DS2's ceiling
• find replacement worktops still looking
• put the last box of paperwork away
• sort meal plan out using weezl's recipe list
• px the car
• attempt to sort out a budget from april till July
• strip wallpaper part way done
• paint kitchens walls done one half of the room
