I'm flitting between here and FB - a good friend of DD who is only 22 has had major surgery on heart, stomach, lungs and kidneys today and we are still waiting to see how she is. She is also allergic to anesthetic!

I've done the kitchen.:D:D

I have also done all sorts of odds and ends - the cloakroom was being gutted today, ready for refitting completely from tomorrow. So, a huge amount of mess just about everywhere. I'm getting rattier by the moment. On the plus side, I have 'helped' ;)OH decide that we should replace the old radiator at the same time, as it's going to look rubbish otherwise.:D

I escaped to the garden this afternoon, and did some brutal pruning of clematis and overgrown shrubs...

Just to keep on topic on a flying note -

I have been fluttering gently since 4.30 ish and I'm starting to flag a bit now. However the kitchen looks fabulous. WM is going through a cleaning cycle now. All filters done etc etc. Just going to unload the DW and 'clean' that too! And the stinky cat box Blurgh!!!

I hope Sandy is ok - we havent heard from her today - I had a pm from her last night to say she felt she was wearing us down and boring us!!!! and that she would give us a break - so Sandy if you are lurking - GET BACK ON HERE!!!!! we need to know that you are ok honey and like i said when i replied you are NOT boring us - we want to support you. was at Macmillan today which was good. am tired so off to do quick catch up on stars and then bed.

Monday ~ Living room, Hallway, Stairs
Level One ~ done :j
[STRIKE]remove clutter from floors, chairs and fireplace..
Vacuum floors you can see and sofas
Open the windows and let in some fresh air
[/STRIKE]Level Two ~ done :j
[STRIKE]Vacuum under the furniture you can move safely
Wipe and water neglected plants
Dust those flat fluffy surfaces
[/STRIKE]Level Three
[STRIKE]muck out manky pets!
[/STRIKE]Clean windows, pictures, mirrors etc.
[STRIKE]Vacuum hall and stairs.. all the way up to the top!!!!![/STRIKE]
Extras

1. [STRIKE]Wipe woodwork in the living room/s
   
2. Wash any smelly soft furnishings
3. [/STRIKE]Sort spreadsheets/finances/meal plans etc
4. 15 minutes filing

Tuesday ~ Master Bedroom & Landing
Level 1 ~ done :j
[STRIKE]Declutter the floor
Remove and wash bed linen.
[/STRIKE]Level 2
Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs..
Wash windows and nets/curtains
[STRIKE]Vacuum and turn mattress before replacing with fresh linen
[/STRIKE]15 minutes floordrobe clearance
Level 3
[STRIKE]Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing
[/STRIKE]Sort one area of clothes or linen storage making sure only what should be in there is, anything that's had it's day or doesn't belong there is removed
Sort through a box or bag of stuff you've not looked at in months.. I am certain you don't need most of it
Extras

1. Binbag dance
2. Finalise the easter plan.. are all the bonnets made? Eggs bought?
3. Wipe grotty paintwork.. touch up any bits that are looking shabby

Wednesday ~ Kitchen and Dining room
Level One ~ done :j
[STRIKE]Sweep and mop floor
Clear and wipe worksurfaces
[/STRIKE]Level Two ~ done :j
[STRIKE]Wipe units and appliances..
Empty and wash out bins
Clear and wipe table.. clean cloth!

Scrub manky marks off walls and tiles
Empty and clean out fpan and crockery cupboards.. fling chipped and cracked stuff
Clear window sills of gibble!

1. Binbag dance
2. HHI
3. Clean out fridge
4. Wipe over oven and hob!

What gets me is that he lives in supported accomodation and he is supposed to have a keyworker??!!!

I called him just now but he didn't want to talk to me about it. He just asked if I called to moan at him. I just said, "no, it's your life but I think you are stupid". Just told him I loved him and put the phone down. No point trying to talk to him if he is in a mood like that.

been a bit of a nightmare here today so this is my first chance to post. Have a 'visitor' coming tomorrow morning so I was on flying where people can see mode:o

Dusty RE not compulory here (but then I'm in a different country;)). I did DS1's options with him the other week and I think he would have had a fit if that was a must do. I never knew that hairdressing and childcare were now options I had to study accounts and loads of other carp!

just heard DD friend is thru the op and is now on the ward 'doing really well'. Now just need to wait to hear how it went. She had had total organ failure as well as other medical problems! Just being in her amazing presence makes me appreciate that despite my aches, pains and stiffness life is worth living and I thank God that I am able me to support DD friend and her parents in prayer.Now need to get a message to DD who is on holiday in China so hopefully my text and/or FB message will get to her soon to put her mind at rest.
