I was planning on posting more about what went on post BR, but thanks to BT taking me off the internet for several months (nothing to do with BR, it was just BT being a big inept company), and not really wanting to browse BR forums at work, I didn't get the chance.
A little while ago I got internet access back (LLU and no BT), but didn't really have anything to post as nothing seemed to be happening and we were just doing our best to get by.
Until today, when out of the blue I got notification that I had an early discharge a week ago - just over six months. My dealings with the OR have been almost non-existent since BR. We had to chase them to get an interview, which lasted only a few minutes confirming our SOA and after that had one letter, a follow up call about one creditor and then silence. I didn't hear anything from the OR about early discharge until the letter today.
It's all quite surreal and completely unexpected. No IPA thanks to my income being just enough to get by on for my family, so the process if over for me.
I might not have posted a lot, but before BR, this forum was invaluable in coming to terms with the hole we'd gotten into. Lots of great advice that led us to make the decision to go BR rather than drag it out any further. I feel relieved and happy to look forwards for a change.0 -

Thanks philnicandamy.
One point I should add for anyone going through this is to be as open and honest as you can to people like CCCS and the CAB and do not take liberties with the OR or court. The first lot are there to help you make the right choices and the second a lot are doing their job and following the process, keep them all on side and it appears that things go more smoothly.0
