Hope your tummy feels better soon Saucy :-(
I bought some white lace, a diamant! necklace I can use for trimming , 2 framed pictures, beautiful modern sea pics that I saw recently for £50 each.. £10 the pair! But I'm keeping them. Oh and a large lion cuddly toy that I bought for the dog but she's scared of it!0 -
Hi rosie, hadn't realised you were east yorks! I'm from hull but live in scarborough, been to see my grandma get received into the church :-) except didn't see it as had to take noisy kids out of mass lol! Steve that's an amazing total, wish i played poker! Hugs all :-) xx
Hi Paula,
I am from Hull born and bred. I did have 9 years away when OH was in the army but I have been back for 30 years now.
Hi everyone. Happy Easter to you all.
Rosie xJan £10 a day £326.75/£3100 -
Ah, it sounds like a good day then! I don't think I've ever found anything good to buy at a carboot or market...I am quite fussy, though! I was looking at what to buy for Spain earlier, considering I own four tops, one dress and one pair of jeans right now, but I have no idea what to get. OH hates shorts, which would have been my guess....pretty summer dresses? Gah.
And the shop needs work, that I'm not doing...
And generally, I'm being very unproductive! Home Tuesday, though, I cannot wait.
What type of doggy have you got?Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -

Saucy I hope your tummy feels better soon- and MoneyMabels cold - and Callys achy bleurghness.
Joey I LOVED the pictures of the kittens and the toys on your blog. and I can see why you love the tortoises too.
Dilli you are moving sooo quick with your blog. got a couple to catch up on.
Paula I think you were going to PM me but I don't have anything. Fine if you've changed your mind just don't want you to think I'm ignoring you if you did send something.
I'm excited because a well established and busy blog that I started following recently and really enjoy and admire has linked to my opening hearts post in a list of 101 inspiring links. she has hundreds of followers and plenty of blogposts to choose from. so very excited that she included mine.

sunday = split shift at work for me, start half 11, work 90mins, then 2 hour lunch, work 3 n half hours
it's cold n damp here this morning and i feel like carp, had nightmare again last night, fed up, everything just aches or feel like i've got cramp in all muscles
going for another cuppa now
Hope work was ok and you feel better now!? Hugs, nightmares are awful, hope you have good dreams tonight xxHi NLID, sounds as though you are making good progress. Don't forget to have a break - it is bank holiday weekend after all, and you know what they say about all work and no play
I'm just cleaning the tortoises out, so they are outside in their temporary pen for the first time. They are only babies and it is very scary letting them out into the big wide world, well .. garden, well ..enclosure in the garden. I'm on constant watch for big cats, foxes, magpies and any stray elephants that may trample through my garden at any minute. So I'm off to paint the fence in the hope that I'll scare off the nasty elephants myself.
See ya later
lol! ooo - I'd love a tortoise, my kind of pet, but for some reason thought it wasn't legal any more - obviously is!! They are sooooo small. Cute!
Joey, wow, you've got tortoises too? We always see them in the pet shop and think they look so cute :-) happy easter everyone, i caved and had a creme egg last night, am determined not to have any more though - weighwatchers is expensive! I will be one of the before and after stories, i will i will i will! Xx
Paula - sounds like you are determined to loose some weight, if you want to see someone who has had fantastic success look on my FB at Sara Chambers, here is her story http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-stories/2010/01/04/i-am-13st-lighter-than-last-new-year-115875-21940674/
Saucy & Dilli - I will be in touch!!!
Hi Jo - thank you for missing me

Prob won't be around till Weds night really as now got a 5th birthday party to plan, but if I'm not posting I am still thinking about you all!

Ok here is my challenge to the dribblers.
Just a bit of fun but designed to get creative thinking going.
Lets try to think of 101 uses for a pencil(or 2 pencils).
Theres lots scope for dodgy suggestions I know but bet we can find lots of non dodgy ones too.
If you post them in burgundy I'll add them to the list.
My starters are.
Knitting needles.
making holes for planting seeds.
2 in hair like japanese do
chopsticks
backscratcher
scratch inside plaster of a broken arm/leg etc
ribbon curler
splint for a broken finger
Have 2 do DD's bedtime now but will add more later. do you reckon we can have 101 by tomorrow night.
