hi all it has been really quiet
Amber completely random idea that just popped into my head. Why not train people to proofread - I saw this website and thought maybe you could do some training sessions or create a proof reading online programme as the only online course I found was for a place called grammarpuss. This website here could be the way to do it http://traindom.com/.
Like I said just a random thought...
Nixi this could work for you too... maybe general PR training and people contact you directly for specialist projects...10K 2010 challenge £3202.59/£10000

okay time to get that total over the £2k mark by the end of the month, so have listed 15 items on ebay and will list another 10 tomorrow, have worked out to reach the 10k should have £2500 by now so just every so slightly short just dont seem to have the same enthusiasm at the moment - possibly because i havent been logged on and reading all the posts so
HALES commitments for me this week -
1) log on every day and keep up with the banter
2) list 10 items ebay tomorrow and keep 25 live listings at any one time.
3) source 3 cake orders this week
4) get things ready for boot sale for next Sunday
think that is enough for this week!skintbint x

Hi All. Well I managed to clean my food cupboard out and I've rearranged it. I will probably still be opening the wrong door and cursing myself for moving things a month from now, but it looks sparkly and tidy for now. I looked at one of the other cupboards, spotted a sandwich toaster and a cast iron fondue set that I have never used, decided that if I tidied it out I would end up with more left out to ebay than went back in, so closed the door again. I'll tackle it tomorrow.
Went up to my sister's to try out the first casserole she has done in her new slow cooker - she is definitely turning into my mum!! It was lovely though, despite the fact that stews aren't really my thing.
I've just been sat on the floor with all the kittens running riot around me. It sounds stressful, but it is the most de-stressing thing ever. They are so funny when they do the sideways crab jump thing and pounce on each other.:jI shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.0 -

Joey - This afternoon, me and OH were laid on bed with the cats lurking on the floor. Next minute, Leo (boy cat) jumped over a pile of clothes and shoes and went full pelt into the bedroom door head first, took a jump back and went careering into the spare room and somehow managed to close the bedroom door as he did it. We were howling with laughter.0

Ha ha!! It's really cruel to laugh, but I bet that was really funny. We used to have patio doors when we lived at home, and one hot day the cats were outside and my uncle came round with his dog. One of the cats sauntered in through the open doors, just as my brother went out and pulled the door closed. The cat saw the dog, arched her back and spat then pelted back out, only the door was now closed so she went head first into the glass. There was a stunned silence and then the crueler ones in my family started laughing hysterically. I couldn't laugh until I had cuddled her and made sure she was alright and then I was in stitches too. I felt so awful laughing at the poor thing though!
Then last year, we went on holiday and exactly the same thing happened to me. I wandered into the house, the lads shut the door to, and I wandered back out and bashed straight into it. I did NOT see the funny side this time, and they were all stifling their laughs cus I was so angry! Serves me right!!!:jI shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.0 -
heheh the funniest thing my little missy has done had to be when she was sunning herself (sleeping soundly) on the window sill. she rolled over on to her back still asleep stretched really taught and proceeded to fall (roll) off the ledge. she landed on her feet and in a complete daze, sat down and started to clean herself while giving me that look that clearly said 'ummm I meant to do that'I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0

They are so good at doing that - that superior look of "I was in full control at all times".
You've gotta luv'em.
Night all
